Leandros Pasias

Leandros Pasias was born in Thessaloniki. At the age of 10 he began piano lessons with his teacher Tasos Mantzaris at the conservatory Musicworkshop. Also he took classical harmony and jazz harmony lessons with Jiannis Angelakis at the Modern Conservatory of Thessaloniki.

At the age of 18 he continued his studies at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in the department of jazz piano with professors Karel Boehlee, Rob van Bavel, Hans Vroomans and classical piano lessons with Gert-Jan Vermeulen. Among others, he attended the workshop of the internationally renowned professor Arnold Dooyewerd. In Amsterdam took part in seminars with: Avishai Cohen Trio, Mike Clark, Dominique DiPiazza, Robin Eubanks, Panagiotis Andreou, Hilario Duran Trio, Enrico Pieranunzi, Dennis Mackrel, Miles Okazaki and Jeff Levenson.

Rasmus Sørensen

Born and raised in a musical family in rural Denmark, pianist, composer and improviser Rasmus Sørensen moved to NYC in 2018 and has since gained wide recognition for his accessible yet forward-looking sound both as a musician and composer. Having collaborated with a vast array of artists across genres over the years as well as having toured extensively, his debut trio album "Traits" is due for release in june 2022 and exhibits Rasmus' perception of the world around us through his musical scope.

Through programs like the SFJazz All-Stars Combo, the Jazzschool, and Berkeley High Jazz, Orenstein had the chance to play with Terrence Blanchard, Christian McBride, Wycliffe Gordon, in addition to many local greats. Composer, arranger, pianist, church organist and ethnomusicologist. Olga Witte is presently studying composition as an advanced postgraduate student at The Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus. She has a MA from University of Aarhus in musicology and anthropology, and is educated church organist from Vestervig Kirkemusikskole. She is a jazz pianist and church organist, and she plays Balinese gamelan.​ Witte's knowledge of Balinese gamelan is based on longterm ethnomusicological fieldworks in the period 2005-2020. Victoria, BC, Canada's Alli Bean is a multi-award-winning Canadian powerhouse blues/jazz/pop- influenced songwriter and vocalist. Drawing influence from a list of artists including Wynton Kelly, Horace Silver, Fiona Apple and Amy Winehouse, her compositional style leans toward the bluesy funky side of the street, with a twist of jazz and a dash of sass for good measure.

Ariel Kasler

Guitarist and pianist Ariel Kasler holds a Master of Music in Jazz Performance from Bowling Green State University, a Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music, and an Alexander Technique Teaching Certificate from the Toronto School of the Alexander Technique. The Ariel Kasler Quintet has released the albums Make it Bloom (2022) and Above the Sound (2015), featuring original compositions and arrangements. With the Thompson-Kasler Duo, he performs and commissions contemporary music for electric guitar and saxophone with saxophonist Bobbi Thompson. Ariel is currently an Assistant Teaching Professor at BGSU, where he has been teaching since 2015
