Leandros Pasias

Leandros Pasias was born in Thessaloniki. At the age of 10 he began piano lessons with his teacher Tasos Mantzaris at the conservatory Musicworkshop. Also he took classical harmony and jazz harmony lessons with Jiannis Angelakis at the Modern Conservatory of Thessaloniki.

At the age of 18 he continued his studies at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in the department of jazz piano with professors Karel Boehlee, Rob van Bavel, Hans Vroomans and classical piano lessons with Gert-Jan Vermeulen. Among others, he attended the workshop of the internationally renowned professor Arnold Dooyewerd. In Amsterdam took part in seminars with: Avishai Cohen Trio, Mike Clark, Dominique DiPiazza, Robin Eubanks, Panagiotis Andreou, Hilario Duran Trio, Enrico Pieranunzi, Dennis Mackrel, Miles Okazaki and Jeff Levenson.

Rasmus Sørensen

Born: June 29, 1997

Born and raised in a musical family in rural Denmark, pianist, composer and improviser Rasmus Sørensen moved to NYC in 2018 and has since gained wide recognition for his accessible yet forward-looking sound both as a musician and composer. Having collaborated with a vast array of artists across genres over the years as well as having toured extensively, his debut trio album "Traits" is due for release in june 2022 and exhibits Rasmus' perception of the world around us through his musical scope.

Michael Orenstein

Born: June 27, 1995

Hailing from Berkeley, CA, Origin Records Jazz Artist Michael Orenstein was surrounded by a vibrant jazz community at a young age. Through programs like the SFJazz All-Stars Combo, the Jazzschool, and Berkeley High Jazz, Orenstein had the chance to play with Terrence Blanchard, Christian McBride, Wycliffe Gordon, in addition to many local greats. In 2015, Orenstein was selected to attend the Banff International Workshop in Jazz and Creative music as a TD Fellow, where he got to perform his compositions with Ingrid Jensen and Zakir Hussain. Skip Walker

Skip Walker is a drummer, composer, producer, educator, and Episcopal Priest. He is a graduate of Boston’s prestigious Berklee College of Music (the world’s foremost institution for the study of Jazz and modern American music) where he studied with renown drummers John Ramsay, Skip Hadden, and Ed Uribe. Skip got his first break at the age seventeen touring Europe as the drummer for the New York based funk group “The Fatback Band,” but after hearing great jazz drummers such as Art Blakey, Max Roach, Roy Haynes, Elvin Jones and Tony Williams, Skip slowly began falling in love with Jazz

Composer, arranger, pianist, church organist and ethnomusicologist. Olga Witte is presently studying composition as an advanced postgraduate student at The Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus. She has a MA from University of Aarhus in musicology and anthropology, and is educated church organist from Vestervig Kirkemusikskole. She is a jazz pianist and church organist, and she plays Balinese gamelan.​ Witte's knowledge of Balinese gamelan is based on longterm ethnomusicological fieldworks in the period 2005-2020. When Olga Witte is in Bali she lives in and takes part in different gamelan groups in the area Kecamatan Sukawati

Ben Matthews

Ben Matthews was drawn to the piano at a young age, following a passion for artistic expression through improvisation and composition. He performs in a unique style that blends genres drawing influence from jazz legends like Herbie Hancock and Oscar Peterson, and from soundtrack titans like John Williams and Joe Hisaishi (Studio Ghibli), and from other pianistic composers like Ludovico Einaudi and Ryuichi Sakamoto. Alli Bean

Born: February 21, 1985

Victoria, BC, Canada's Alli Bean is a multi-award-winning Canadian powerhouse blues/jazz/pop- influenced songwriter and vocalist. Drawing influence from a list of artists including Wynton Kelly, Horace Silver, Fiona Apple and Amy Winehouse, her compositional style leans toward the bluesy funky side of the street, with a twist of jazz and a dash of sass for good measure.

Since her start in classical piano in the 90’s, Bean has explored diverse popular styles of music from country and rock to R&B, as well as attained a Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz Studies.

Currently on the roster of Indie Entertainment, she has experience in multi genre bands and ensembles

Ariel Kasler

Born: 1981

Guitarist and pianist Ariel Kasler holds a Master of Music in Jazz Performance from Bowling Green State University, a Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music, and an Alexander Technique Teaching Certificate from the Toronto School of the Alexander Technique. The Ariel Kasler Quintet has released the albums Make it Bloom (2022) and Above the Sound (2015), featuring original compositions and arrangements. With the Thompson-Kasler Duo, he performs and commissions contemporary music for electric guitar and saxophone with saxophonist Bobbi Thompson. Ariel is currently an Assistant Teaching Professor at BGSU, where he has been teaching since 2015
