Relocated to Copenhagen in late 2017, in his natal Madrid (Spain) he played in the house band of several jam sessions comprising more than 12 years of weekly stage routine. Arturo has played with the likes of Chema Saiz, Juan Camacho (CD La estrategia del tiempo, 2008; CD Artesanía popular, 2016), Sebastián Chames, Angel Rubio, and Inoidel González, as well as with various musicians from the American continent (Riner Scivally, Margaret Stowe, Virginia Ramírez, Brenda Hopkins, Paul Brewer, and Juliet Annerino, with whom he played in New York). He has also contributed original compositions for the jazz fusion band Tet-Quart (CD Silencio, 2010) and his Arturo Mora Group (EP Sign of the Future, 2014).

Nato a Milano il 27/2/1959 a 14 anni il primo gruppo "Inferno Canto primo " principalmente basato su rock progressive e jazz rock in compagnia di Roberto Muru, Rosario Santagata e il compianto Paolo Davola. In quel particolare periodo (1975) rimasi molto affascinato da Giulio Capiozzo degli "Area" imitandone l'impostazione (per quello che mi era possibile) e mi appassionai allo studio dei ritmi pluricomposti per poi scoprire e andare a ricercare tutti i grandi batteristi del Jazz e della Fusion. Grazie all'amico Mauro Garavello ho cominciato a studiare al "Capolinea" con il maestro Enrico Lucchini leggenda nel campo della didattica musicale Jazz nazionale

Tony Bray studied jazz improvisation and jazz pedagogy with renowned educator Jerry Coker at the University of Tennessee. Also with William Scarlett, Bennie Wallace and Warne Marsh at this time. Graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Studio Music and Jazz. After college he went on to teach theory and production classes as part of the Commercial Music program at the Antelope Valley College in California. He was also responsible for setting up the first “Small Jazz Group” program at Cal State Northridge. Since then, Tony traveled the world as a sax player and keyboardist, playing music on cruise ships, clubs and casinos from Las Vegas to Singapore

He has performed with many of SW Florida’s top musicians including Joe Delaney, Jay Heavilin, Kevin Mauldin, Trimble McCullough, Doug Kirschner, Mickey Basil, Dave Morgan, Michael Baer, Tim Goodman, Brad Brown, and David Sarchet. In addition to leading various trios and quartets with the musicians above, Andy has lead the groups Straight Ahead and Saxdance. Both groups have been featured at Lee County Alliance of the Arts as well as at many venues in SW Florida. Andy is originally from NYC, but grew up in Richmond, Virginia
