Jason Klobnak

Mr. Klobnak is a versatile trumpet player that has been performing as an active musician, author, clinician, composer and educator. His bands, the JKQ (Jason Klobnak Quartet/Quintet) and J's Ruckus have released 5 albums that have done well on Jazzweek charts, Top 10 lists on international radio stations, and multiple positive reviews. Mr. Klobnak also the trumpet and brass instructor at Arapahoe Community College, have released two very well reviewed Jazz improvisation books, do clinics, perform, and keep a steady teaching studio both in- person and on Skype. Mr. Klobnak holds a bachelor degree from Drake University (Des Moines, IA) and a Master’s degree from the University of Denver, Lamont School of Music (Denver, CO)
