Owner of a particular style that congregates the technique of an erudite inheritance to the freedom of Brazilian and Jazz Music, Írio has impacted the audiences wherever he performs. Pianist, composer and arranger, Irio Jr. was born in Lavras (southeast of Brazil) and began his career in the Ball Orchestra of the city, together with his father, also a musician and a conductor. In his mid twenties he studied classical music and performed in piano competitions all around Brazil. Irio was accepted at the College of Music of MG, but he didn’t stay there for long.
