Georg Wissel, (prepared) saxophones, clarinet refers to himself also as Sculptor of compressed air via (prepared) saxophones He made his first important experiences in Improvised music recording and touring in the late 80ies in Germany, France and Southamerica as guest musician of 'Pöhlmusik' along with Jon Rose. Inspired by collaborations with electronic musicians, he began also (beside working on instrumental playing-technics) searching for new sounds by preparations, which by the time has become an integral part of his playing. Andrea Claburn

Born in Baltimore, Maryland to a classical pianist mother and a jazz aficionado father, Andrea Claburn knew what she wanted to do by the age of four. “I started begging my mother to let me to take piano lessons. She would play Chopin and Beethoven, and I would go to the piano when she was done and try to recreate what I’d heard. I wanted to play so badly.” Her mother finally relented when Andrea reached the ripe old age of six. “My mom was very smart. She said, ‘you’re not ready’ when I was in preschool. She was the opposite of a pushy stage mom. Noah Rott is an internationally performing pianist, keyboardist, composer, bandleader, electronic artist & music educator who fuses modern jazz with electronic soundscapes.

Originally hailing from Hamburg, Germany, Noah Rott moved to Brooklyn, New York in 2017, where he swiftly carved out a niche for himself as a dynamic force within the city's jazz scene. As part of a new generation of jazz innovators, Noah Rott's virtuosic and versatile use of analog synthesizers and sound effects paired with his picturesque approach to the acoustic piano have garnered him attention and acclaim.

Jeff Swanson

Born: February 27, 1988

Guitarist Jeff Swanson has made his unique voice and open mind a valued part of Chicago’s diverse music scene. A strong player in many disciplines, he has been featured at the Chicago Jazz Festival, Hyde Park Jazz Festival, Iowa City Jazz Festival, Chicago Gospel Festival. Case-fitter, is Swanson’s first original full-length release. It was recorded over four weeks in April 2017 during a residency at The Whistler in Chicago. Each week the group used a set repertoire and added members to its core trio, exploring a different experience each week and concluding with the final recorded performance as an octet. Swanson brings a fresh lyrical approach to meshing jazz, improvisation, electronic and post-rock music together on this release
