Haruna Fukazawa

Haruna Fukazawa is a New York-based flutist originally from Tokyo, Japan. She has been an active member of the American and Japanese musical scenes as a performer, composer, and recording artist for over a decade.

After graduating from Mushashino Academia Musicae in Japan, Haruna’s musical career started as a classical musician. Upon attending a performance by the great Oscar Peterson, Haruna decided to dedicate her life to jazz. ​

Haruna’s straightforward, joyful, and powerful playing style is inspired most by her legendary teacher and mentor Frank Wess

"I’m pretty much self taught. I learned Jazz and rock on the street. If you are fine with that then we can talk. I’m fine with it. I play guitar, sax and flute, most of time. People mostly wrote about the guitar playing. I really enjoy flute although I don't have that much of it out there on recordings. I love a good melody on a tenor saxophone and for 4 or 5 years that was my main focus. Lately I've been back to focusing on guitar."

Keven Eknes

Born: September 18, 1993

Following the trend of having the first professional gigs as a early teenager, I debuted my original EP “Extraterrestrial” at 19, and won prestigious awards: PwC Award; G9Alt Award x2; Helgåleiren Guitar Idol; Tom Wilhelmsen Stiftelse x5; Sandnes City Honorary Recognition 2014 in support of my career. As a quintessential musician, I was also a university drop-out at Paul McCartney's LIPA, desiring to chase the “American Dream” starting at Berklee College of Music in 2014. After being offered both the European Tour and the Writing&Composition Scholarship, I became a division award-winner the following year for "Outstanding Musicianship" as selected by faculty, and in 2016 was one-third of the recipients of the prestigious Artist's Diploma (A.D.) among the 950 graduates, closing with a packed arena concert. My journey as a full-time guitarist since have been ranging from recording lead guitar for National Geographic and Liam Ferrari to performing 1000s of shows in multi-million dollar productions and national tours as well as performing at Gardeball (King of Norway's Ball), being selected by Smoky Mountain Opry as their "Best Male Performer" nominee for the IAAPA Brass Ring Award

Hans Kjorstad

Born: February 17, 1993

Hans Kjorstad is a Norwegian violinist and composer. He grew up in an active folk music society in Gudbrandsdalen, and started playing jazz and improvised music around the age of 17. He is now a creative violinist, composer and improviser, touring worldwide with amongst others Miman, Frode Haltli Avant Folk and Billy Meier.

Niels Lan Doky is the Knight of Jazz: Telling the stories of the music and his journey to becoming a global icon of the genre. A generation younger than artists like Keith Jarrett and Pat Metheny, pianist/composer Niels Lan Doky is one of the most acclaimed and prolific jazz artists of his time. He has released over 40 albums, has collaborated with the greatest artists in jazz and has won countless awards and accolades around the world. When he released his debut album in 1986 an American Jazz Journalist wrote: “There is nothing more encouraging and satisfying than to encounter for the first time a young Jazz musician of real stature, someone who can make you feel that the future of the music is in good hands
