HITRA

HITRA plays imaginative original music and improvisations. Born at the Norges Musikkhøgskole in Oslo, the band reunites four artists who have extensively investigated contemporary art forms: {{m: Hilmar Jensson = 23269}} (guitar), {{m: Alessandro Sgobbio = 53650}} (piano, compositions), {{m: Jo Berger Myhre = 121824}} (bass) and {{m: Øyvind Skarbø = 28781}} (drums). Inspired by a Norwegian county which covers hundred islands, islets and skerries, Hitra creates a genre-fluid journey into lost and hidden places. Debut album Transparence has been released on February 19, 2021 under AMP Music & Records.
