Gabriel Grossi is considered one of the greatest harmonica players in the world. A virtuoso musician with remarkable personality developing his instrument into the rich universe of Brazilian Music. Although young, Gabriel has an extensive trajectory. In addition to his well established solo career he is, since 2005, member of the Hamilton de Holanda Quintet, winner of the 2007 best Brazilian group prize and Latin Grammy Awards finalist for three consecutive times. He collaborated in important projects like touring with the late clarinetist Paulo Moura, with whom he played from 2003 until his death, and the singers Zelia Duncan and Beth Carvalho, with whom he recorded CDs and DVDs in 2004

Endowed with an atonishing technical facility and deep theoretical knowledge, Serrano also shows an enormous musical versatility that is faithfully reflected in his long history of collaboration. His harmonica moves with equal ease in musical fields as far apart as jazz, flamenco, pop and classical. He has shared the stage with artists such as Barbara Hendricks and Placido Domingo, with countless Classical Orchestras in Europe, Wynton Marsalis, Lou Bennet, Toots Thielemans Vicente Amigo, Clarles Benavent and the great Paco de Lucia amongst many others.

John Colgan-Davis

John Colgan-Davis, harmonica and vocals, started playing the harmonica in local blues and folk clubs back in the late 1960s while he was still a high school student. He played and recorded with Philadelphia singer-guitarist Jesse Graves and played with Bonnie Raitt when she lived in Philadelphia in the early 1970's. Through Bonnie, John got to meet and play with Mississippi Fred McDowell, Arthur Crudup, Buddy Guy, Skip James, Mississippi John Hurt, and others. He has also jammed with James Cotton, John Hammond, Charlie Musselwhite, John Lee Hooker, Bill Dicey, and Louisiana Red. He has toured the Midwest and recorded two CDs—“Cold and Lonesome on a Train” and “Heroes and Hard Times”—with Tennessee bluesman Sparky Rucker, and played for three years with The John Cadillac Band

With her warm and virtuous playing she easily conquers the audience. As a soloist she has performed with the Metropole Orchestra, The Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw, the Orchestra Jazz Siciliana, Tony Scherr, Han Bennink, Jesse van Ruller, Candy Dulfer, and Al Jarreau. She toured in America, China, Japan, Indonesia and Europe. Hermine has recorded several cd’s on harmonica: Welling (2015 - Tin Wood Records), Glass Fish (2012 - Challenge Records), Soundbite (2006) and Crazy Clock (Brooklyn 2005) with guitarist/bassist Tony Scherr
