Born:

Studied contemporary music and composition at Dartington College of Arts in Devon. During this time, also began studying with jazz pianist John Horler in London. He Graduated in in 2001 where he began freelancing as a musician around the South West of England. After running various groups and also gaining a PGCE in adult teaching Guy, recorded his first trio album in 2003 entitled Emma’s Dream, featuring the late Jeff Clyne and Trevor Tomkins. This saw him working high profile gigs for the first time, as well as expanding the trio and working with such great saxophonists as Dave O’Higgins and Renato De Aiello
