Pedro Velasco

Pedro Velasco is a London-based guitarist who specialises in improvised music. Born in Lisbon, Portugal, he began playing piano at age nine and, inspired by the Brazilian music he was surrounded by at home, picked up a guitar at age 12. Under the tutelage of renowned Portuguese guitarist Mario Delgado, he began turning to the sounds of jazz and improvised music. He moved to London in 2003 to study at Middlesex University with Nicki Isles, Chris Batchelor and Stuart Hall and in 2007 he graduated with a first-class honours degree in Music (Jazz Performance). He now performs not only on guitar, but on other string instruments as well, including double bass, portuguese guitar and oud, playing prolifically across London and the UK, and he’s also toured Europe with the free-improv group, Splatter

Diego Figueiredo

With a variety of work already released, Diego is doing shows on the most important stages around the world enchanting and charming the public wherever he goes with his unique touch. Diego Figueiredo was born in Franca, Brazil, in 1980, and at the age of 4, he used to strike poses carrying his small guitar. At six, he got a mandolin, which was kept in a very special place in his house. Diego played many instruments before choosing the electric guitar when he was twelve, playing in theaters and local pubs, revealing the great art of improvising and harmonizing. At 15, he conquered theaters and nightclubs in many different Brazilian states, playing solo or with renowned musicians. For some years he joined different bands, like Banda Gênese and Squema Seis from Brasília, where he lived for a while. He has studied classical guitar, Brazilian Popular Music and jazz in conservatories in Franca, Ribeirão Preto and Tatuí. In 1999, he won first place in a contest in South America, when he was awarded a scholarship to study at Berklee College of Music, and when he got all judges amazed with his particular style. In June 2001, Diego Figueiredo conquered second place in VISA Prize of Instrumental Brazilian Popular Music, receiving high praise from the judges. He was finalist for the ICATU HARTFORD Prize in Rio de Janeiro and was praised by the judges. Nowadays he accompanies the singer and songwriter Belchior in tours around Brazil and abroad

Mark Lettieri is a guitarist, composer, producer, and instructor based in Fort Worth, TX. Proficient in a multitude of styles, he records and performs in virtually every genre of popular music with both independent and major-label artists. He also composes and produces original instrumental music under his own name. Born in the San Francisco Bay Area, Lettieri came to Texas via Texas Christian University (TCU), studying advertising and public relations, and competing in track and field. A passionate guitarist since middle school, he began his music career in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex area upon graduating from TCU. Playing in the vibrant Metroplex gospel and R&B scene led Lettieri to join jazz/world group Snarky Puppy in 2008, where he contributes as guitarist, as well as arranger and composer

Chris McQueen has been playing, writing, and recording music since 1994. He plays guitar in the 3-time Grammy winning band Snarky Puppy, as well as the gritty instrumental quartet Forq, and world music group Bokanté. Jesse Harris

Originally from New York City, Jesse Harris is a Grammy Award winning songwriter, singer, guitarist and producer of artists from all over the world. He began making records in the mid 90s with Once Blue (EMI Records), his first group and first experience writing for another singer. Since then he has worked with dozens of artists and released 14 albums under his own name. His latest album, Aquarelle, recorded in Lisbon, was released in 2018.
