Steve Yarrington
Steve Yarrington is an accomplished guitarist whose style centre’s on the “swing” of the earliest electric guitarists in jazz. Steve’s approach is to strip down the “Big Band” genre, to show how these guitarists might have sounded “swinging” with just a trio. Steve’s passion for the guitar started when he moved over from the drums - which he started playing at the age of 13 – and transferred his sense of “swing” to this instrument. He soon joined the lively, semi-pro scene around Birmingham, UK and eventually progressed to performing nationwide, in theaters, as backing guitarist to a number of recording artistes, originally from the early 1960s: Ricky Valance, Tommy Bruce, Wee Willie Harris, Lee Curtis, Dave Sampson, Danny Rivers and Craig Douglas. Steve later spent 11 years in the Shetland Isles, and was a founding member of Fiddlers’ Bid - with whom he has recorded, toured the world and performed on live radio & television broadcasts

Tony Margiotta
There is no scientific doubt that music can affect one's mood and well-being. There is also no doubt that emotions are direct responses to music. Yet, we don't know exactly why we have an emotional connection to musical sounds. Some theories state that music may have been a crucial part of early human behavior and can be traced back to the most primitive parts of the human brain. In essence, music is a component of our being. As a committed student to the study of affective emotions, guitarist/composer Tony Margiotta infuses emotional charges within his musical creations. Emotion is what inspires him to write music, and to serve all those who have a desire for musical pleasure
