Adam Taylor

Adam Taylor is a jazz guitarist and composer from the U.K. He is currently based in the Netherlands where he is involved in several projects and performs regularly on the European and U.K scene. After graduating from Leeds College of Music in 2013 with a first class honours degree in jazz, Adam won several awards for his innovative playing. He received the Eric Kershaw memorial prize for guitar and the LCM 606 club competition in 2013. In 2014 he received the Jimmy Woode award and in 2015 he was a semi-finalist in the prestigious Montreux jazz guitar competition. One of the few jazz guitarists to use the touch technique developed predominantly by guitarist Stanley Jordan, Adam is able to sound like a piano with two independent hands able to move all over the neck simultaneously

Orlando brings a wealth of influences not only from his country of Brazil as a guitarist, vocalist, songwriter and arranger, but from his classical background as well. A native of Lavras, in the state of Minas Gerais, Orlando has been a bandleader since the age of 12. As a child growing up in Brazil he studied classical piano and guitar; later he moved to Rio de Janeiro, where he studied at the Villa-Lôbos Institute and pursued private classical guitar studies. Jani Moder was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and moved back to Slovenia when he was 3 years old. He started playing classical guitar when he was 8 years old and took lessons for 10 years. He graduated from jazz guitar with honors at Karntner LandesKonservatorium in Klagenfurt, Austria. At audition in Paris he received scholarship for prestigious Berklee College of Music and received scholarship from Slovene ministry of culture. At Berklee he was recipient of Stephen D. Holland Award for outstanding musicianship and graduated with honors in 2 years. He was also chosen among 10 students to sign a contract with Berklee’s Jazz revelation records where he is featured on the Cd called Common Ground

His first single hit #40 on the Gavin Contemporary Jazz charts (on over 100 stations coast to coast) and remained on the national charts for over 16 weeks. Tony first began studying guitar with renowned teacher & author Ted Greene, forming a deep bond that would last until Ted's untimely death. Regarded by his peers as among one of the top contemporary Jazz Guitarists, Tony's gift for capturing feeling in beautiful melodies is immediate and infectious and while he displays a casual tone, his virtuosity and technique are always evident
