Yuval Amihai

Jazz guitarist, composer and bandleader Yuval Amihai was born in Beer Sheva, Israel in 1981. Beginning with piano studies at the age of 8, Amihai switched to the electric guitar at 13, and by the time he was 16 he was leading his own bands and performing regularly around the country. During his mandatory military service, Amihai found great inspiration in classical guitar music and composed a chamber music piece for guitar, piano and a string quartet. His music was selected to be featured in a series of concerts by the city of Beer Shava’s Municipal Symphonic Orchestra. Amihai was then commissioned to compose an original work for the city’s string quartet, featuring renowned oud and violin player Yair Dalal

Anthony DeCarlo

Anthony DeCarlo is a musician from Trenton, NJ. He began playing the guitar at the age of 6 under the instruction of Ernie White. He was exposed to the great roots of blues and rock in Trenton. He played seriously throughout his childhood and wanted to take it a step further. He crossed the bridge to the city of Philadelphia to attend the University of the Arts for Guitar Performance. After graduating, he moved down to South Philadelphia and started Taskerhouse, a community music venue/studio/rehearsal space. In addition to running Taskerhouse, Anthony performs and records throughout the world with a variety of artists, as well as being involved in many original projects.

Tom Giacabetti

Known for his soulful lyricism and fluid technique, Philadelphia jazz guitarist and educator Tom Giacabetti has long been praised as an improvising artist of great sensitivity and skill. His talent as a composer of vocal and instrumental jazz works will soon become more widely known with the winter 2015 release of his first CD as a leader, “Tender Heart: Songs of Tom Giacabetti and Melissa Gilstrap.” Tom has always intended for his compositions to be sung, and his vision is now being realized through his partnership with lyricist/producer Melissa Gilstrap, who successfully collaborated with legendary tenor saxophonist Larry McKenna on his last two CDs and penned the lyrics to their song “One Falling Tree,” voted #2 favorite new release out of 100 for the year 2013 by listeners of WRTI (90.1 FM Philadelphia)

Julien Desprez

Julien Desprez is a musicianand performer based in Paris. Jazz and rock were his early musical loves but they evolved rapidly to free forms where body and space find their places through sound. As his practice progressed, his conception and approach to his instrument as well, and music and space changed. He is now considering the guitar more likea battery, an organ, a modifiable instrument deployable at will. Through a mix of actions on the instrument and a play of foot on effect pedals, taking inspiration from the technique of Tap Dance, it completely opened the possibilities, sound and physical environment of the instrument

Eugenio Mirti

Eugenio Mirti was born in Torino in 1972 and developed his musical talents studying jazz guitar with Luigi Tessarollo and rock guitar with Jose Perfetto. Earning his certificate in music theory at the Conservatorio G. Verdi in Torino, Italy, Eugenio perfected his skills following many seminars including those hosted by B. Buethe, J. Batten, S. Morse, S. Gibellini, M. Petracca and B. Kessel; he also attended courses offered by Boston’s Berklee College of Music at the Umbria Jazz satellite school in Perugia, Italy in 1994. In 1995 he started the rock band Matka which recorded two albums, “Lavorare Stanca” in 1998 and “Zen Number 3″ in 2000

Eran Sabo

Born and raised in Israel, Guitarist Eran Sabo has arrived to New York in 2012 and continues to march down his promising path as a performer and composer, whilst expanding his musical development through explorations of his own roots and traditions as well as Afro-American influences. Born in 1991 in the Israeli town Kfar-Saba, Only 5 years after picking up the guitar , Eran got accepted to the prestigious “Thelma Yellin High School For the Arts” Jazz Department, where he graduated with excellence in 2009. After a selective audition, ranked 1st by the Israeli Ministry Of Education, he recieved an "Excellent Musician" status. That status allowed Eran to complete his 3 year mandatory service for the IDF, while being part of the first school year at the Israeli Conservatory "CJS" program founded by Amit Golan (R.I.P) in direct link with "The New School For Jazz and Contemporary Music" in Manhattan. Thanks to this special status, throughout his military service Eran was permitted to perform widely in Israel (sharing the stage not only with local musicians but also Jazz legends such as Jimmy Cobb ,Reggie Workman and Mulgrew Miller (R.I.P) ) and travel abroad to perform in the 2011 “Umbria Jazz Festival” as well as play on the opening concert for the 2012 “Umbria Jazz Winter Festival” in Orvieto, Italy. During that time, thanks to his High School teacher and mentor Amos Hoffman,he started to experiment and add the “Oud” to his music , which is a Middle Eastern-oriental instrument. In 2012 Eran moved to New York to complete his B.F.A at the "New School" where he got the privilege to be mentored and instructed by inspiring masters such as Reggie Workman, Andrew Cyrille, Ari Hoenig, Sam Yahel, Jason Lindner, Ben Monder and Aaron Goldberg. Chris Morrison

The son of jazz guitarist, Allen Morrison, Christopher Morrison began performing early on with New Haven, CT jazz organists Richard McCrae, Bobby Buster and Eddie Buster. The training he received while working with these men made a lasting impression on Chris. To this day, his playing and teaching style reflect the simple and practical approach that was used in his education. Chris has recorded and or performed with Adam Nussbaum, Lew Soloff, John Patitucci, Joe Beck, Chip Jackson, Harvie S, Delfeayo Marsalis, Richie Cole, John Stowell, Gary Versace, Joe Diorio, Ron Affif and Ralph Lalama
