Leandro Fortes

Born: October 7, 1983

Leandro Fortes is a Brazilian composer and guitar player, and released his first solo CD in 2012. Although his sonority has strong roots in Brazilian music, it also draws on influences from its South American neighbors and, beyond its immediate borders, from West Africa to produce a rich and culturally diverse sound. In 2007, he has formed Quarteto Rio Vermelho and already boasts a solid discography of 1 DVD and 2 CD’s. According to Italian newspaper Il Manifesto, “the group is organic, with a very strong individuality, but also with a elaborated universal poetic”. Fortes has already performed at important music festivals as: Festival Jazz en Lima (Peru), Cascavel Jazz Festival, Festival de Música de Itajaí, Oficina de Música de Curitiba, and has toured over 30 cities under the sponsorship of SESC.
Last year, he performed at Museum of Contemporary Arts in Chicago, United States. In 2006 he moved to New York City, playing Brazilian Music in clubs and restaurants in Queens and Manhattan, and taking private jazz classes with Billy Newman

Burak Kaya

Born: July 24, 1970

Burak Kaya (1970) was born in Ankara, Turkey. He began playing classical guitar at age of 12. He played both classical guitar music and jazz standards seperately for a long period of time. Although he took some guitar and harmony lessons, he's mostly self-taught. Kaya had a strong influence of world music, latin jazz and Anatolian traditional musics in his style. Instead of using amplified guitars he prefers to play nylon string classical guitar which creates an natural acoustic sound. He plays mostly in small groups such as jazz trios including double bass and percussions or duo instrument projects

PC ENERGETIC is the international trio of award-winning guitarist Philip Czarnecki. It stands for a fat, modern and colourful sound. Modern jazz meets the sound-aesthetics and raw energy of rock and funk. This results in rocky and funky guitar-riffs, energetic improvisations and compositions, which are rich in rhythmic and harmonic complexity on the one hand and narrative and melodic on the other. Furthermore responsible for the powerful, yet multi-layered and versatile sound is bassist Jonathan Ihlenfeld Cuñado and drummer Marc Ayza. On their debut-album "Illusion" the band features renowned saxophonist Jasper Blom and the singer Rakel Salazar

The music played by his band, Carlos Fischer Band, is composed entirely by Carlos Fischer. It is a music full of stories and emotions, it combines pieces that highlight the inspiration of its melodies, the intense harmonic work and virtuosity, also taking us through other styles such as contemporary instrumental music and progressive rock. Carlos Fischer studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA, and graduated as a professional musician at the School of Contemporary Music in Buenos Aires, Argentina

Dave Erickson is an acoustic and electric guitarist and composer from Denver, CO, USA. Dave’s influences and passion for music have spanned many genres of music including jazz, rock, blues, folk, & classical. ​Recently, in 2014, Dave collaborated with Jim Carr and formed the acoustic guitar duo New Latitude to share their passion for instrumental acoustic guitar music. Their recently released CD “Convergence" is all original music with great synergy and acoustic guitar interplay on every song. ​ ​Dave released the instrumental, contemporary jazz CD Pinnacle with the Dave Erickson Project (DEP) in 2013
