Josep-Manel Vega

Born: March 10, 1965

He began studying musical language and harmony with his grandfather (Josep Baiget),  classical guitar with several teachers (Jordi Belza, Mariano Capella, Guillem Pérez-Quer, William Waters, Danielle Kassner), contemporary music (Joan Munné, Xavier Prats) and flamenco (Manuel Castilla). However, it was by exploring on his own that he developed a personal musical language focused on improvisation, inspired by musicians such as Keith Jarret, Bill Frisell, Ralph Towner or Nguyên Lê.

Jonathan Asperil

Born: June 14, 1994

Jonathan Asperil, now 21 years old, is a Los-Angeles based musician. Jonathan began playing the guitar when he was 11 years old and since then, he has been devoting most of his time to becoming a better musician. At the age of 15 he auditioned for a teen national talent contest, organized by Coca-Cola Company, and won in the category of best guitar player. This achievement led to him performing with a professional cover band in front of 1,000 teenagers. At the age of 16, he was the winner of another national guitar contest which was produced by the most esteemed radio station in Israel, "88FM." This contest was produced and judged by guitar virtuoso Joe Bonamassa

Boomerang Parlour

Born: September 14, 1992

Based in murky (but “mint”) Manchester, Boomerang Parlour combine acid techno, jazz and hip-hop to create their sound. Founded by guitarist and song-scribbler Will Havard, the group pool from a compelling concoction of influences from The Police, Paul Simon and Pat Metheny to Squarepusher, Cocteau Twins and Jojo Mayer/Nerve. Bringing a blend of cinematic themes, dance-(ish) grooves and engaging improvisation together with an infectious energy, they like the pretty stuff as well as the glitchy stuff

Darko Jurkovic - Charlie

Born: April 20, 1965

Darko Jurkovic was born on April 20, 1965 in Rijeka, Croatia. He studied the violin in lower music school, finishing in 1979. He started playing the guitar as a self-taught fifteen year old. Jurkovic first became interested in jazz at the age of 17, soon after embracing a special technique known as “two hands tapping,” developed by American guitarist Stanley Jordan. In 1990, Jurkovic enrolled in the jazz department of the Academy of Music in Graz (Austria), graduating in 1997 with the master’s degree in arts (Magister der Kunst). Already during his studies, Jurkovic was recognized at many international performances including "Jazz Herbst Wien" (Austria, 1993) "Raab Jazz Festival" (Austria, 1994), "Bologna Festival of Acoustic Guitars” (Italy, 1996). Throughout his career, Jurkovic has collaborated with Top Croatian jazz musicians, including Kruno Levacic, Tonci Grabusic, Henry Radanovic, Sasa Nestorovic as well as international jazz greats like Gene Jackson, Mario Fragiacomo, Comisso Angelo, Roberto Magris, Bobby Watson, Herb Geller, Dusko Gojkovic, Frantisek Uhlir, Jaromir Helesic, Michael Hauser and many others. Darko Jurkovic is a Croatian musician with most appearances abroad (approximately fifty per year)

Mathias Baumann

Born: December 20, 1978

‘Music is the language that everybody understands. Music can express and evoke feelings that nobody has words for.’ Dublin based guitarist Mathias Baumann is originally from Nassau, Germany and moved to Ireland in 2005. With many years of recording and touring experience in different countries, he has been working as a session guitarist, composer and guitar teacher since 1998. Mathias studied Jazz at Blackrock’s Newpark Music Centre and finished the four- year degree course in May 2013 with an honours degree in ‘Bachelor Of Arts in Jazz Performance’. He has performed and recorded with many artists from different genre, as well as his own groups Mathias Baumann Quartet and Mathias Baumann Group

Marcelo Berestovoy

Marcelo berestovoy's live repertoire is an eclectic mix of Rumba Flamenco, Jazz, Tango, Gypsy swing and guitar driven arrangements of popular, well known songs. His Spanish guitar versions of Beatles songs are among his audience's favorites. Marcelo session/touring and writing credits include some of the biggest names in Latin Pop and Hollywood movies. Marcelo plays over 100 live shows each year and his reputation is rapidly growing around the globe through both his live performances as well as countless instructional guitar videos. Mark Schuster

Born: January 27, 1965

Mark Schuster is a guitarist from Chicago. He started playing drums at the age of 10, and a few years later turned to the guitar. While attending college, he pursued a music degree and chose the guitar as his main instrument, exploring both classical and jazz. Being exposed to, and playing, many different genres of music over the years has made Mark the eclectic musician he is today. Mark's approach to playing the guitar is sometimes aggressive, sometimes relaxed, but always passionate.

Pat Sprakes

Born: March 17, 1967

Pat Sprakes cut his jazz teeth with Tony Kofi, Darius Brubeck and has performed for Robben Ford. As a guitarist, his biggest influences are Wes Montgomery and George Benson, and he has a great love of latin rhythms. He is an excellent accompanist as well as a clear and melodic soloist.
