Marcus Taylor

Marcus Taylor is a guitarist, bassist, percussionist, composer and academic who produces music under the banner of Kashgar. With two album releases that explore the interface of jazz, rock and world stylings, Marcus has clearly been influenced by Santana through to John McLaughlin, Al di Meola and other 70s fusion pioneers. As a composer, he has consistently sought to craft a unique sound and is drawn to a wide range of musical styles to serve as points of inspiration. At any given time you might find Marcus listening to contemporary Nepalese folk music, Miles Davis or 70s progressive rock. His other musical ventures as both player and composer include the progressive rock band Broken Parachute and the jazz-pop band Crosswinds

AC Steel
AC is the leader of the Galvanizers. Steve started his musical career in 1969, playing with his band Stockyard. 1969-72 he opened for Chicago, Humble Pie, 3 nights with the Allman Brothers, Pink Floyd, Savoy Brown, Renaissance , Sha-Na- Na, NRBQ, Seatrain, Mott the Hoople and others. Performed for crowds as large as 15,000. Lived and performed London in 1972 after befriending members of Mott the Hoople during a show in NJ. Played in the London Based Brunning Hall/Sunflower blues band featuring former members of Savoy Brown and Fleetwood Mac. Turned down invitation to join Chrysalis Records artists UFO due to prior commitments. Returned to USA for 1973 with one trip back to London for consideration of membership in formation of Bad Company. Performed in "Buff" (formerly Patti LaBelle's band) with renowned bassist Carmine Rojas (Rod Stewart/Joe Bonamassa/David Bowie, many others). Returned to his blues roots playing with Jukerockers in the early-mid 1980's. Member of the Dukes of Destiny from 1986-98 and 2011 to January 2018. Appeared on several recordings with the Dukes and issued two Galvanizers CD's, most recently 2016.

Argentine guitarist, composer and arranger, he has studied to the Universdad Nacional de Córdoba (Argentina), then he specialized himself in Paris and Italy with Ivo Malec, Pierre Boulez, Ennio Morricone among the others. The record label Nuova Fonit Cetra-RAI has published his chamber music in the CD Atmospheres and the Sonzogno publisher edited his compositions for orchestra. He has composed for the singer Lucia Minetti the music of Luz!, a song that gives the name to the homonymous CD (Velut Luna Records). He has accomplished all the tango- arrangements for the Mario Brunello's Orchestra d’archi italiana and he has participated as a soloist player in this project. Paul Hosford

Paul Hosford is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer. He has operated a recording studio in Albion, Nebraska, since 1986 and in 2002 started his own record label, Painted Heart Music, which has released 16 full length CDs to date. Paul's solo jazz guitar CD, Emergence, was given five stars by Jazz 2/Day and his work with young musicians earned him the praise of jazz writer Nat Hentoff. Paul began learning jazz bass and guitar at a young age from his father, pianist Frank Hosford. Rod Harris Jr. is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. Rod was exposed to music at a young age by his singer/songwriter father. When Rod was 14, his father decided to relocate the family to Atlanta, GA. On his 17th birthday, his father gave him $150 dollars, and he decided to take the money and purchase an acoustic guitar. "...I don't know what provoked me to get a guitar...It had to be God...because I could've partied that money away...quickly.." he says. Once he began learning the instrument he fell in love with it and was determined to be a great player. Tony Wilson
Tony Wilson began his musical studies in 1981 at Malaspina College in Nanamio, B.C., where he studied composition with Pat Carpenter. He took private guitar instruction from Oliver Gannon. Further schooling, included two summer sessions at the Banff School of the Arts. His teachers there included Dave Holland, John Abercrombie, Kevin Eubanks, Steve Coleman, Muhal Richard Abrams and others. Tony has also studied composition privately with multi-instrumentalist Vinny Golia and new music composer Georgio Magnenensi. After moving to Vancouver, B.C. in 1987, he started playing and writing for the sextet Video Barbeque
