Wesley Carroll

Victoria, BC based composer, arranger, guitarist and vocalist, Wes Carroll is dedicated to reaching audiences with his original creations. His writing strives to surprise and intrigue through swings of volume, groove and emotion. Since winning the 2010 Daryl Marr scholarship though the Victoria Jazz Society, he has received support from the community through several other scholarships and has graduated with a degree in Jazz Studies from Vancouver Island University (2014). In the summer of 2013 Wes contributed his musicianship and five originals to the record 'Off Pulse Quartet Live in the Holland'

Paul Kelly

Paul Kelly is not just Australia’s greatest and most enduring songwriter. There is something that goes even deeper than that. His songs have a way of digging into the country in a way that few artists can do, how it looks, feels, tastes, sounds. The joys and sorrows, achievements and follies. If you want to know something about Australia, how it feels to be Australian, you can find it in his songs. He is one of those rare artists to spin a long career out of a hunger to explore new directions, from the tender songcraft of Post to the hard-edged rock’n’roll of Gossip, to country and folk, bluegrass (see Smoke, Foggy Highway), a soul revue album with guest singers including his long-time backing singers Vika and Linda Bull (Paul Kelly presents the Merri Soul Sessions)

Eric McGarry

Eric McGarry is a guitarist, composer, and educator based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

McGarry is a graduate of the University of the Arts with a Master of Music in Jazz Studies.  Prior to completing his Master of Music, McGarry earned a Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance with Honors, and a Minor in Music Business, Entrepreneurship, and Technology from the University of the Arts.

McGarry has studied with prominent guitarists Dave Allen, Matt Davis, Tim Motzer, Kevin Hanson, Mike Kennedy, and Ben O’Neill. While attending UArts, McGarry held the guitar chair for the award winning Z Big Band, under the direction of Matt Gallagher.

Evan Mustard is one of the most active jazz guitarists in Portland, OR today. His wide-ranging credits include performances with Lyric Theatre (OK), the Norman Philharmonic (OK), Under the Lake (OR), Jumptown Big Band (OR), Cherry Blossom Trio (OR), Shanghai Woolies (OR), Vanport Big Band (WA), and the Evan Mustard Trio. He is also an instructor and the Program Coordinator at Youth Music Project (OR). He earned his M.M. in Jazz Studies from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2013 after completing his B.A. in Music Performance from the same institution in 2010. In addition to his collegiate work, he has studied with world-renowned guitarists Gilad Hekselman, Rotem Sivan, Bruce Forman, and John Stowell

Français Cerbère est un ensemble de jazz instrumental montréalais qui propose un son moderne et chaleureux.Guidé par les compositions de Maïko Dubuc au piano et de Rémi Yergeau Morissette à la guitare, le groupe se démarque par son jazz actuel sensible et énergique qui s'adresse à tous les auditoires. Born: December 30, 1993

Artan Buleshkaj (°1993), is a Ghent (Belgium) based guitarist and composer. He is active in a myriad of projects in and around the vibrant Ghent scene, spanning a musical spectrum reaching from pop to freely improvised jazz/noise. Active projects include: Marta Rosa (dream pop band based in Ghent, participated in the Humo's Rock Rally, the Nieuwe Lichting,... CD out in 2016 called "Invertebrates) ; BRAIN//CHILD (jazzrock/noise band, with members from Belgium and Italy. Semi-Finalists of the Keep an Eye International Jazz Contest). CD out in 2016 (Self Titled, on Honolulu Records); H A S T (rock/free/noise band, based around the Belgian Altoist Rob Banken, based in and around Ghent). Further accolades include a nomination for the SABAM Young Jazz Talent Award (2016) and participation in the finals of the Belgian B-Jazz International Jazz Award (with Ruis).

Davy Knowles

David Series

Born: December 20, 1982

David has studied with Mike Outram, Lage Lund and Dave Cliff. He has recorded with his Organ Trio, trio HSK, performed at the Queens Hall with The Paul Simon Project and Lorna Reid, played at China Orange Jazz Festival with Unkle Bob and performed alongside musicians such as Euan Stevenson, Konrad Wisniewski, Richard Kass, James Lindsay, Colin Steele, Ali Affleck, Herb reed and the Platters and Louis Abbott (admiral Fallow). He is always striving to develop the bands and projects he is involved in whilst developing his own playing as well. Most recently he has written, drawn the artwork, and recorded his own quartet project, 'Meerkat Parade'.
