As a teen gal dreaming that I’d be a rock star-fashion designer when I grew up, I never would have thought I would be a folk-jazz chanteuse. No relatives in either my German or Puerto-Rican side s of my families were musicians. I had a beautiful soprano 4-octaved voice but never had the inclination to play an instrument. When I came to know Christ as my Lord and savior in 1982, two twin sisters with beautiful voices invited me to harmonize and minister to the elderly and dying at many Jersey shore nursing homes

Mark Waggoner

Mark Waggoner is a jazz guitarist from Los Angeles. He attended The University of New Orleans as well as Berklee College of Music in Boston. Like many other jazz musicians the music from the 1960's continues to be a big source of inspiration for Mark. Recordings by artists such as Joe Henderson, Lee Morgan, Wayne Shorter, Miles Davis and John Coltrane are among his favorites.

He has worked with Jack McDuff (organ), Buddy DeFranco (clarinet), Bob Sheppard (saxophone), Ron Stout (trumpet), Carl Saunders (trumpet), Don Menza (saxophone) and Mike Fahn (trombone).

For ten years he played in a band led by the great drummer Eric Gravatt

Kenichi Doami

Guitarist / Composer Kenichi Doami was born in Japan. After being inspired by rock guitarist Edward Van Halen and Steve Vai, Kenichi started teaching himself how to play the guitar. Kenichi excelled at the guitar rapidly and was accepted to Koyo Conservatory in Kobe, Japan after playing for two years. In 1999, Kenichi was awarded a scholarship from Berklee College of Music, and he moved to the United States to attend the world- renowned music school. Kenichi performed constantly at Berklee with the college's most talented musicians, including Walter Smith lll (Roy Haynes Band/Ralph Peterson Band) and Hiromi (Telarc Recording Artist)

Reza Ryan is an Indonesian jazz/rock/fusion/experimental guitarist, composer and music educator. He has had experience with a variety of music genres including fusion, jazz, rock, prog rock, classical and death metal. As a guitarist and composer, his latest music projects are I Know You Well Miss Clara, SAdA and Reza Ryan Trio. Beside those music projects, Reza is known as a music/guitar educator in jazz and classical study and also gives workshops, guitar clinics and music scoring.

Guitarist and composer Sam Kirmayer, plays straight-ahead jazz with “fearlessness and momentum”– Katie Malloch (CBC Jazz Beat & Tonic). One of CBC Music’s picks for the “35 best Canadian jazz musicians under 35”, Kirmayer’s playing has been described as “sharp and clean melodic lines peppered with exquisite chording and comping… never overstated and always expressed with good taste”– C. Michael Bailey (All About Jazz). Kirmayer’s debut recording, Opening Statement (Chromatic Audio 2017), was well received, earning 4-stars from All About Jazz and winning the Julian Award of Excellence for Emerging Canadian Jazz Artists from CJSF 90.1 FM

Yasser Tejeda

Yasser Tejeda born and raised in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, is a versatile guitar player currently based in Brooklyn, NY. A graduate of the Berklee College of Music, Yasser is currently working with a variety of artists including Deva Mahal, Irka Mateo and Jeremy Bosch. He is also a member of the groundbreaking group Freelance, which is becoming renowned in the jazz/soul scene in New York. Throughout 2014, he toured with Latin Grammy Award winner Prince Royce as part of “Soy el Mismo” tour. Besides his work in the U.S., Yasser has played and recorded with some revered Dominican artists including Xiomara Fortuna, Luis Dias and Tone Vicioso.  Yasser is also a producer, arranger, composer and bandleader with two projects so far in his discography including: aStridd (Colliding Galaxies, 2013) as well as his Afro- Dominican group: Yasser Tejeda & Palotré (Mezclansa, 2009)
