Greg Englert

Born: March, 1963

Greg is an award winning mutiple number 1 on-line jazz chart and top 20 rock/pop/easylistening on-line chart composer, musician and recording artist. He is based in Sydney Australia and performs with most of the top Jazz Bands and Sydney 80's covers band 'Glory Daze'.

From his beginning on Trumpet with Sydney Dixieland Jazz Bands and Swing Big Bands, Greg has gone on to work with most major jazz bands in Sydney including the legendary Ricky May, Bob Barnard and Dave Dallwitz. He has also supported and backed legends such as KC & the Sunshine Band, The Harlem Globetrotters, Jackie Trent & Tony Hatch (Neighbours, everybody needs good neighbours....), The Deltones, Doug Parkinson, Brian Cadd, Jackie Love (legs!!!!) etc.

Tenshi

Tenshi is a dynamic jazz fusion quartet based in Toronto, delivering a captivating blend of improvisation, groove, and artistry. The band features:

• May Akanuma on saxophone and flute, whose expressive melodies and intricate phrasing bring vibrant textures to the ensemble.
• Spencer Bridgwater, bassist and composer, whose intricate compositions and driving rhythms anchor Tenshi's sound.
• Ben Graffam on drums, whose rhythmic precision and creative energy propel the group’s performances.

Joe Robson

Born: July, 1990

Dennis Haklar

Dennis started performing music at Rutgers University. He joined the Improvising Structures Ensemble lead by minimalist composer Dan Goode. The group performed the music of John Cage, Terry Riley and others, it also gave Dennis  the opportunity to hear his original compositions played by a large ensemble. This group also featured jazz saxophonist Eric Kloss. After a few years playing with this ensemble Dennis left to work as a session guitarist at Pyramid Recording Studio. It was there that he became fully immersed in the world of 24 track, 2” analog tape recording. He experienced  sounds that he never heard before, so big, so warm, so clear

Angelo Tatone

Born: September, 1986

Angelo Tatone is a live and studio musician as well a composer, arranger and music teacher based in Vienna.

He plays electric, classic and acoustic guitar. His technique and his touch on the guitar is a result and synthesis of many years of practical experience in different music fields such as Jazz, Blues, Pop, Rock but also classical and film music.

He recorded and produced several albums in different music styles and genres and collaborates with many bands, orchestras and musicians.

Together with Irene Malizia he founded Variando musica and furthermore he is teacher for guitar, improvisation, composition and ear training at Variando musica.

Cody Steinmann

Born: June 28, 1993

Cody Steinmann has been performing and teaching professionally for over 10 years. He attended Milwaukee Area Technical College where he completed an Associate’s degree in Music Occupations and later won a Rita Tallent Picken scholarship to attend the University of Wisconsin – Parkside. Cody has studied extensively with Steve Peplin, Russ Johnson, Solomon Parham, JD Allen, Jesse Catalino Montijo and James Crowley, DM. He has also taken lessons with Ari Honig, Johannes Weidenmueller, Scott Hesse, Pete McCann, and Aaron Gardner.

An outstanding improviser and composer, Cody has become a fixture on the Twin Cities jazz scene since settling in Minneapolis. Cody has performed with JD Allen, Solomon Parham, Javier Santiago, Russ Johnson, Chris Bates, JT Bates, Abinnet Berhanu, Anthony Fung, Max Gerl, Kevin Washington, Bryan Murray, Fode Bangoura, L.A. Buckner, Jake Baldwin, and Nelson Devereaux. In September 2019, under his producer name C0D3 7, he released his debut album 7 a musical chronicle of Cody’s youth. He then released his second album, Sightless Quartet Live, in May 2021. Sightless Quartet is the first group Cody formed upon moving to the Twin Cities, dedicated to exploring the intersections between jazz, metal, and hip hop.

Steve Bryant

Born: March 18, 1962

RED123 emerged from the creative depths of a "Basement Recording" project during the COVID-19 lockdown, exploring unique tunings and innovative sounds. In his early 20's Steve Bryant spent six years playing guitar as a member of the United States Navy Band—an experience that infused his music with a unique blend of structure and improvisation, akin to jazz. This duality reflects his artistic vision, merging disciplined technique with free-spirited expression. Steve is not only a talented guitarist but also a dedicated music educator, composer, and practicing musician

Lonnie Mack

Born: July 18, 1941

Lonnie Mack was born Lonnie McIntosh in 1941 in Ohio, raised in a musical family surrounded by the sounds of blues, country, and gospel. From a young age, he displayed an exceptional talent for the electric guitar, developing a hard-driving, aggressive style that would later be hugely influential.

In 1963, Mack recorded an instrumental version of the song "Memphis" that is now considered one of the earliest examples of the emerging blues rock genre. His blistering, emotive guitar work on that track caught the attention of music fans and fellow guitarists, establishing him as a rising star.

Darren Leonidas

Born: March 6, 1969

Born in NYC in 1969, Darren Leonidas first began playing guitar at the age of 11 years old. Growing up in a household with numerous musicians and surrounded by music for most of his life, Darren credited Eric Clapton as the reason he originally began playing guitar. Along with Clapton, Darren was deeply inspired by other 60s and 70s era rock-and-roll bands like Led Zeppelin and the Rolling Stones.

After moving to New Jersey in his teenage years, Darren discovered Jazz and quickly became engrossed with the genre. Albums from notable artist such as George Benson, David Sanborn, and Pat Metheny caught his interest. After graduating high school, Darren studied jazz at William Paterson University, studying under Jazz Virtuoso Vic Juris. It was here where Darren developed a deep appreciation for Modern Contemporary Jazz and instilled an overall drive to seek out all forms of music.
