Rich Jenkins
Born:
Straight up, I was raised in a country club, but I found my calling in a jazz club. Looking back over the last twenty years, it is amazing to recall all of the work, sacrifice, and faith that went into becoming an entertainer. I’ve found myself on many different stages with some very talented musicians. I’ve played blues in the likes of Manhattan’s Terra Blue and Manny’s. I’ve played my original pieces at the Hampton’s fabled Stephan’s Talkhouse and Philadelphia’s intimate Tin Angel. I’ve opened up for the likes of Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire. And oddly enough, too many country clubs to list here. To be honest, some days I feel more like a bandleader than a guitarist or singer

Tony do Rosario
The best musicians tend to display at least a bit of their roots in everything they do, and jazz guitarist Tony Do Rosario is no exception. While himself a product of the Atlantic City area of southern New Jersey, Tony's appreciation for music came at an early age growing up as a first-generation American amid a family whose native Brazilian culture was a regular part of the household. It was on family trips to Brazil that he recalls finding his love for life and music. "There was this Samba band that would rehearse down the street,” Tony reminisces. “I remember just absorbing the energy of the music." He also enjoyed watching his grandfather, a self-taught musician, perform on the accordion for the family

Brian Blain
Born:
Originally from the hills of rural Quebec, now based in Toronto, Brian "Colorblind" Blain has been performing his unique brand of slow-cooked, solid-groove folk blues for more than 40 years - soulful, thoughtful, always entertaining. His current release on NorthernBlues includes four tracks with Michael Jerome Browne and guest appearances by Harry Manx, Paul Reddick, members of Downchild and other Canadian blues luminaries. Brian is the quintessential 21st century northern bluesman - a study in contradiction, starting with the title of his new album, "Overqualified For The Blues". His guitar style is as authentic and soulful as you will find in any blues - south, east, west or north - but his lyrics reveal a unique, contemporary point of view
