David Schwartz

Born: December 26, 1982

David Armstrong Schwartz, born December 26th, 1982 in Barrington IL, began playing guitar at the age of 11 and was initially inspired by the early 90's grunge sound of bands such as Pearl Jam, Nirvana, and Sound Garden. During his high school years, David played in various rock bands as well as the Barrington High School Rhythm Machine. David's musical direction made an abrupt change after hearing the rock-influenced jazz of John Mclaughlin, Al Di Meola, and Allan Holdsworth. This change in musical direction inspired David to study music full time and in 2001 he entered the Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver where he studied Jazz and Commercial music as well as composition

Lee Wallace

Born: May 21, 1981

Lee Wallace was born in Toronto and began playing guitar at the age of six, learning from his father, Steve Wallace, a Toronto based jazz bassist. As a teenager he studied improvisation and harmony with Mark Eisenman and guitar with David Occhipinti. He later continued his jazz studies at Humber college and Barry Harris workshops. Professionally he has performed in major cities throughout North America and abroad, and has appeared with many top Canadian and international musicians, including Mike Murley, George Evans, Mark Eisenman, Pat Labarbera and Scott Hamilton. He can be heard regularly in Toronto, both in an accompanying role, and as the leader of his trio.

Bjorn Solli

Born: 1979

Bjorn Solli - Guitarist/Composer was born in Norway in 1979 and is now based in New York. He was voted "young Norwegian jazz musician of the year" in 2002 and has since won numerous awards throughout Europe, including soloist prizes in Belgium, Monaco and Spain, audience prizes in Switzerland and Spain, and a composition prize in France. With his trio SOLID! he has released 3 critically acclaimed CD’s distributed worldwide. In 2005 Solli toured Nepal and India for three weeks, and in 2007 he toured in USA, China, Vietnam, Sweden, Ireland and Norway. In November 2007 Solli was back in India on a two-week tour with his trio. In April 2008 Bjorn went on another world tour, first in California, then China and a two week trio tour in Australia before going to Ireland and one week in Norway doing a CD release tour. In July 2008 Bjorn once again toured around China and in August he went on tour in Norway with saxophonist Will Vinson. Bjorn Solli is a busy professional musician working out of New York City performing in such venues as Dizzy’s Club at Lincoln Centre, The Bitter End, LaLanterna, Fat Cat, Louis 649, Manahatta, Puppet's, 55 Bar and Blues Alley in Washington DC, with such musicians as Jon Gordon, Marcus Strickland, Will Vinson, Kendrick Scott, Matt Penman, Orlando Le Flemming, Obed Calvaire, Bryn Roberts, Matt Clohesy, Tommy Crane, Derek Nievergelt, Quincy Davis, Karlie Bruce, Rodney Green, Wayne Batchelor, Jonathan Blake, Mark Ferber, Jochen Rueckert, Jon Wikan, Orrin Evans, Ferenc Nemeth, Jamire Williams, Ingrid Jensen, Adam Cruz, Jaleel Shaw etc. He is touring and recording extensively, having so far appeared on 6 Cd’s. His began his musical career when he was eight; his mother dragged him to classical guitar lessons in Tokyo. After leaving Japan, he moved to Connecticut, the Cayman Islands, Burlington, Vermont and Oslo, Norway, before making New York City his home. It was the hustle and bustle of the urban environment that triggered him to communicate through composition, all that he heard, smelled, touched and saw. With a varied career as a performer, composer and arranger, Highlights include shows and tours with artists such as Taj Mahal, Jimmy McGriff, Larry Coryell, Benny Golson, Oliver Lake, Russell Malone and Mulgrew Miller. Ron has been featured as a leader in jazz festivals all over the world, including the North Sea Jazz Festival, Edinburgh Jazz Festivals and Winter Jazzfest, NYC. Born in the Philippines, lived in many states as a kid, then settled in Harvard, Massachusetts, west of Boston, Ron was initially influenced by rock guitar greats like Jimmy Page, before falling under the spell of jazz and following the style and career of jazz guitar luminaries like Pat Metheny and George Benson

Harry Austin

Born in South Africa, Harry’s passion for guitar was evident at a very tender age. He spent his youth mingling with gifted street musicians in Cape Town who have greatly influenced his path over the years to come. Harry is a versatile guitarist and a wholehearted Jazz composer. In the late 70's, he co-founded and performed with the “Touch” band and enjoyed great national success until the mid 80's. Following this first accomplishment, he toured and made appearances with various musicians and live bands across South Africa until he made his international debut with the “Andrew Young” band in 2002
