Acrobat’s 2nd album was recorded at Steve Winwood’s legendary Cotswolds studio. The release was followed by a European tour in early 2020, starting out at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, London, and finishing 20 days later in Freiburg, Germany.

Art Boffi
Since arriving on the scene, jazz guitarist, Art Boffi, has been sparking interest and turning heads with his fiery brand of jazz guitar. Currently in steady rotation on internet radio stations that include CD101.9, Smooth Jazz Global, Smooth Jazz NYC, Smooth Jazz Mix New York, Radio Guitar One, and 95.5 Smooth Jazz to name a few. What makes this musician so unique is his well-thought-out arrangements and his creative intertwining of musical ideas. Influenced by traditional jazz players like Joe Pass, Wes Montgomery, and Tal Farlow, he later found inspiration from players of a more avant-garde styling such as Ralph Towner and John Abercrombie as well as Pat Metheny, and rockers such as Jeff Beck, Tommy Bolin, and Roy Buchanan. Well versed in many musical styles, when listening to his recorded work, one can detect influences of jazz, rock, and blues.

So Long Seven is a delicious mix of jazz, classical, blues, folk, and music from around the world is both a funky, relentless force and an atmospheric cornucopia of sound.
Nestled in the rhythmic drive of tabla player Ravi Naimpally, Neil Hendry (guitar), William Lamoureux (violin), and Tim Posgate (banjo) create an aural space beyond boundaries. This highly skilled quartet references several global traditions including traditional musical forms of India, Europe, Africa and the many musical traditions of the Americas, in a unique and cohesive cultural bridge.
So Long Seven has performed with Canada’s top global music venue, Small World Music, and plays concerts and clubs across the country. From a tour of Vancouver Island, appearances at Victoria Jazz Festival, Ontario’s Hillside Music Festival, and Sunfest, the band is a national force. The band has also performed internationally with multiple concerts across Europe.

Mitch Watkins

Mitch Watkins career started at the age of 13, gigging with a surf band in McAllen, Texas. After beginning a choral conducting degree, followed by a stint on tour with a rock band, Watkins moved to Austin, studying composition for four years at the University of Texas and immersing himself in jazz guitar. Inspired by the blend of rock and jazz pioneered by Miles Davis, John McLaughlin, Chick Corea, and Weather report, Watkins and his schoolmates formed Passenger, a cult favorite Austin band. "Through a strange series of events," says Watkins, Passenger became Leonard Cohen's backing band in 1979, touring with Cohen twice in Europe and Australia.
