Daniel Reyes Llinás

Daniel Reyes Llinás, Born in Bogotá, Colombia in 1978, Daniel started his formal training with guitarist Carlos Castilla, then continued his studies under Jaime Arias Obregón and Carlos Rocca Lynn at the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá. He has participated in workshops with Leo Brouwer, Nik Bartsch, Martin Medeski and Wood, Butch Morris, Bang on a Can, Robert Fripp, and David Torn. Additionally, he has taken private lessons with Fernando Otero, Mary Halvorsen, and Carlos Alomar. Currently, he is studying composition with Ion Marmarinos and Julien Malaussena. Daniel has performed at venues in Europe, North, and South America. Between 2008 and 2017, he led the NYC-based Parias Ensemble, collaborating with Mariel Roberts, Ravi Kittappa, Vasko Dukovski, and Marta Topferova. Between 2017 and 2019, Daniel was a resident composer at Teatro Escarlata in Medellín. His music has been featured in theater, films, and dance performances. Currently based in Portland, Oregon, he performs with the experimental music ensemble Ex.tra.di.tion. Daniel recently released guitar trio album "String Schemas," featuring Elliott Sharp and Harvey Valdes, and the solo guitar album "Códices," co-produced by Trey Gunn. Daniel is a recipient of grants from The Regional Arts Culture Council and The Foundation for Contemporary Arts.

Jamie Slater
Jazz guitarist, composer and educator, Jamie Slater has been a fixture in the Charleston Jazz scene for over 20 years. Jamie holds a degree in music theory and composition with a concentration in Jazz guitar performance from the College of Charleston where Jamie studied with internationally recognized composers such as Trevor Weston, Edward Hart, and ASCAP Award winning composer David Maves. Jamie has been a private instructor since 1988 and for the past 9 years has taught Jazz, Rock, Blues and Classical guitar at Music Unlimited in Mt. Pleasant, SC. He has had the pleasure of performing countless musical engagements (including the Spoleto Festival) with such great South Carolina musicians as Tommy Gill, Quintin Baxter and Charlton Singleton

Quentin Bryan Angus

Originally from country South Australia, Quentin Angus is a multi-award winning Australian jazz guitarist, 24 years of age, who recently moved to New York to undertake a Masters at the Purchase College Conservatory of Music. Since his arrival in NY just one year ago, Angus has already begun leading his own bands at various venues in Manhattan, has recorded an album of original compositions entitled ‘Retrieval Structure’, and toured Europe with the 'Quentin Angus Quintet' in September 2011, which included performing at the 2011 ‘Jazz Hoeilaart Festival’ in Belgium. Angus was also selected as one of Downbeat Magazines '34th Annual Student Music Awards' for his composition 'Five Ahead', and was one of 20 musicians from around the globe selected for the 2011 'Betty Carter Jazz Ahead Residency' at the Kennedy Centre
