Mark Doyle

Mark Doyle has had a distinguished career in the music business since his first band, Jukin’ Bone, was signed to RCA while Mark was in his late teens. He’s gone on to make records as guitarist or producer with David Werner, Cindy Bullens, Andy Pratt, Leo Sayer, Hall & Oates, Judy Collins, Meat Loaf, and Bryan Adams, and has provided string arrangements for numerous recordings by the likes of New Kids On The Block, The Cavedogs, The Stylistics, and Tiffany. He currently leads his own band, Mark Doyle & The Maniacs, who have released two albums and play consistently throughout the Northeast. As a solo artist, In Dreams: Guitar Noir II is his third all- instrumental release, following 1999’s Guitar Noir and 2001’s Out Of The Past.

CHILDHOOD Growing up in London Gregory Page was surrounded by family members who performed and recorded swinging Jazz music. His Mother's group "The Beatchicks" opened two concerts for The Beatles in Spain, August 1965. Before one of the concerts"which were held at night inside a bullring"both bands sat together under the hot sun watching the Bullfights. Young Gregory was sitting upon Paul's knee, when the Matador, on horseback, lanced the bull for the final kill. Paul covered the eyes of the youngster protecting him from the bloody scene. COMING TO AMERICA Under the cover of darkness, he escaped to America in September 1976

Tosh Sheridan

Tosh Sheridan is a guitarist and composer working and living in New York since 1998. Tosh earned his Bachelors of Arts degree in Jazz Composition from Berklee College of Music in 1998. In 2004, he went on to earn his Masters in Jazz Performance from City College of New York. While at City College, Tosh studied with the world-renowned solo jazz guitarist Gene Bertoncini. Tosh has been performing throughout the tri-sate area since the age of 16 when he first started playing guitar. Tosh has had a great deal of experience teaching private lessons, classes and ensembles. (National Guitar Workshop, Borough of Manhattan Community College, City College and Trevor Day School.) Tosh has composed music for dance productions and short movies. His latest score is featured in Coleman Hough’s (writer of Stephen Soderbergh’s feature film Full Frontal and Bouble) short movie The Tale of Two

Born in Belem Brazil, she started playing guitar at 14. She gave guitar lessons at her house she had many students, including Jane Duboc before she became well known, and also hosted a day-time TV program, Tupi-Channel 2, to the viewing TV audience. She also was the precursor to the bossa nova in Fortaleza. She was well known in town for music, including serving as jurer in local music festivals. Her house was always frequented by musicians, including Fagner, Belchior, Ednardo and others (before they became famous). Lucinha was also introduced several times on TV Marajoara-Belem. She had her first licensed professional job with the Othon Palace Hotel-Bambu Bar

Freedom Underground was born in 2003, starting primarily as a blues and R&B group. In 2004, the members decided to change their mission to include jazz, fusion, funk, and whatever else happened to sound good. Freedom Underground because sometimes that’s where you have to go to find the straight truth of who, what, and why you are. And the truth, as they say, shall set you free. Cornelius Fortune (trumpet, keyboards) studied classical composition with Karl Boelter, and jazz theory with saxophonist Rodney Bonner (an early mentor to Kenny Garrett). A native Detroiter, Fortune has composed/performed music for several independent and student films
