Tim Langedijk
Born:
Many jazz enthusiasts find guitarist Tim Langedijk a breath of fresh air. He is not a man who desires to show off his virtuosity to his audience at any given moment. Langedijk likes beautiful melodic lines and subtle harmonies and he also searches for intriguing and adventurous soundscapes. Diversity and powerful expression are the starting points for the trio that he formed in 2006. Bassist Udo Pannekeet is a member of the first hour. In 2011 drummer Hans van Oosterhout joined the trio. The first two albums (Testimonials, 2008 and Inside The House, 2010) were critically acclaimed. "His view of music is in line with what John Abercrombie and Bill Frisell set in motion," said the magazine Jazzism

Jeffrey Cedrone
Born:
Greylyng Jeff Cedrone and John C. Miller formed Greylyng in the autumn of 2002, with an honest intent of exploring sound. Having completed a BA in Music Performance (Jazz Guitar) from Western CT State University, Cedrone found himself going back to his ‘60s/'70s progressive rock/experimental roots, but now incorporating his new found love of jazz harmony, electronics, and improvisation. Jeff states "When it comes to writing, I have always found tone and texture to be as important as melody, rhythm, and harmony. This may be why I gravitate towards classic guitar tones, effects pedals, synths, mellotrons, electronics, electric piano timbres, found sounds, and the like."

Michael S Glenn
Born:
Check out my albums at https://mikeglenn1974.bandcamp.com Growing up around musicians, I always wanted to try and learn guitar. I was going to start playing when I was 12, but the guy who was going to give me lessons, said that I just wanted to make noise, since I wanted to buy an amp for my guitar. So I got a little discouraged and started again when I was 17. At this point I was listening to jazz for the first time. I like to try and play things other guitarists and fans enjoy: two-hand tapping, sweep picking, whammy bar tricks, crazy effects, etc. My first group was a hip-hop band called ITIMS

Reinier Baas
Born:
Reinier Baas (1985) is a guitarist, composer and recording artist from the Netherlands with a DIY approach and an idiosyncratic body of work. He has released 11 records as a (co-)leader, with a wide variety of styles. His critically acclaimed albums 'Mostly Improvised Instrumental Indie Music' and the ambitious 'Reinier Baas vs. Princess Discombobulatrix' both earned him an Edison Award (the Netherland's most prestigious music award).
Baas’ music is characterised by “unpredictability with a reassuring sense of overall form”. A description of The New York City Jazz Record reads: “The music was assembled in unusual ways. Arcane harmonies suggest Bartók or Stravinsky, but then structures would fracture and hip-hop rhythms would suddenly hit hard and then everything would become wild flurries and improvised cacophonies before the music returned to solemn, orderly, if angular forms.”
