The Greg Harris Vibe Quintet: Fresh from releasing PROSPECTOR "Memory of Pilots" featuring Ron Miles, and "World Citizen" with African master xylophonist Aaron Bebe, Colorado’s Vibraphonist Greg Harris releases a Quintet album titled "Open Space." The album showcases the group’s unique instrumentation through their high-energy, expressive, original songs. Alongside the vibraphone is colorful trumpeter Erinn Bone, backed by a steady and soulful rhythm section of Matt Fuller on guitar, Bill Larson on drums, and Venezuelan bassist Bijoux Barbosa. Vibraphonist Greg Harris recently received an award for Original Composition-Best Song, Outstanding Performance in the June 2003 Downbeat Magazine
