He plays solo, or as duo or trio, depending on the venue. His music is highly original and combines elements of jazz, latin, brazilian, celtic, rock, classical, contemporary folk and more into a modern fusion of traditional genres. The songs he and his group weave are rich in mythos and emotion lyrically and musically. Galen's compositions are held within unique chordings, diverse rhythms, and am amazing finger-style technique developed over the last 30 years
