MUSICIAN Born:

Irini Konstantinidi

With her lyrical, expressive, and impressively clear sound, vocalist Irini Konstantinidi has achieved a very personal and refined interpretation of jazz and has been established as one of the most prominent Greek jazz singers. Reviews about Irini have highlighted her vocal brilliance, impressive tonal range, and flexibility. The audience and the press refer to her as the jazz voice of pure crystal that’s very exciting when she's improvising! After years of collaborating as jazz vocalist and lyricist with collective projects and discography (Nomadic Treasures in Holland and The Wonderfall Quartet in her home-country Greece), she is now reintroducing her voice to the audience, releasing new jazz songs under her own name and with her artistic signature as a songwriter, producer, and arranger. Irini has just recorded her new personal studio album entitled “Nothing to lose”, which will be released in April of 2021 and will contain original songs that unfold her joyful personality and jazz finesse. Her playful and creative approach to vocal improvisation and jazz phrasing makes her music performance unique

All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded albums and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, limited reopenings and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary step that will help musicians and venues now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the sticky footer ad). Thank you!
