Harry "Butch" Reed

Harry a.k.a Butch started playing drums at a very early age educated at the Settlement Music School, and through private instruction with Carl Mottola and Skeets Marsh. He has toured with several well known musicians including John Blake, The Onus, The Andrew Neu Group and The Electric Mingus Project. He has also been a member of the Philadelphia Clef Club Jazz Big Band and the Don Wilson Big Band. His percussion skills have been showcased at The Berks Jazz Festival, Trenton Jazz Festival, Lancaster, Lebanon and Bethlehem Pa Jazz Festivals performing with jazz notables Larry McKenna, John Swana, Tony Micelli, Gerald Veasley, and many others. Butch has been a member of various performing groups including Soul Fuego, Lynn Riley & The World Mix, Electric Mingus Project, Andrew Neu Group and presently Manifest III

Ian Dylan, born 11/28/1969, in New York, N Y,, currently residing in the Washington DC metro area, is a jazz musician. He plays drums, and drum set in particular. He’s become known for his control of the instrument, keen ear, and eminently musical approach. A Refreshingly unique take on Latin, and being able to “swing hard”, especially at medium and quiet tempos are the hallmarks of his music. Ian has had twenty years of experience playing jazz and gospel and in a wide variety of settings and with many different musicians.

Josh Jones

Drummer & Percussionist Josh Jones is recognized internationally from his touring with such jazz greats as Don Cherry, Steve Coleman, Omar Sosa and Peter Apfelbaum. He currently tours with Jacqui Naylor. Josh's recent recording projects include the soundtrack to the movie "La Mission," as well as albums with Larry Coryell, Phil Ranelin, and Jacqui Naylor. Other notable recordings include Yosvanny Terry and Columna B, Peter Apfelbaum, Steve Bernstein, Chico Freeman, Arthur Blythe, Tupac Shakur, Goapele, Zion-I, Taj Mahal, Bob Weir and AfroCuba de Matanzas. Josh continues to perform with his various ensembles at clubs and festivals in the Bay Area and remains an influence on and supporter of jazz in the community.

Richard Irwin

Born: December 21, 1974

Born in Winchester Ontario, Canada, Richard Irwin was constantly surrounded by music. His father was a multi- instrumentalist and teacher, while his mother, a teacher as well, sang in church with the family. Children’s and church choirs were the beginnings of his musical life, and drums and percussion came shortly after. At 11 years old, a school friend invited him over to check out his new kit, and his passion for the instrument began. Noticing that a serious interest had developed, he was sent to learn the fundamentals. Weekly lessons at the Glengarry School of Pipes and Drums taught him every rudiment on the snare, as well as a chance to compete in Scottish events all over North America and Europe at a very early age. The drum set soon replaced snare competitions, and the Pipe Band was substituted with concert bands, small orchestras, pit bands, and various working bar bands
