Kasper Tom Christiansen
Kasper Tom belongs to the new generation of drummers who mix music from many genres and makes it his own. He graduated from the Carl Nielsen Academy of Music, Denmark, and lived and worked in Berlin from 2007-2010. Since 2006 he has been leading his own bands which include Rudi Mahall, Marek Kadziela and Mads la Cour. He released CDs on Stunt Records, WhyPlayJazz and Gateway Music with the bands Kran and QUARTz. He has played tours in Denmark, Poland, Germany and USA and played at festivals including Copenhagen Jazzfestival, Leverkusener Jazztage, Jazz w Ruinach and Jazz nad Odra, to name a few

Chris Teal
Born:
Chris Teal is a drummer & percussionist based in Rochester, New York. He currently leads the progressive jazz group "Quintopus", featuring original music as well as interpretations of recent popular artists including Bjork, Radiohead, and Sufjan Stevens. Their debut album, "Voyage to Ornoc" was released in 2010 on ears&eyes Records. Chris performs regularly with the Po' Boys Brass Band, the Dave Rivello Ensemble, Crescent City Connection, Madeline Forster, and the Katie Ernst Trio as well as maintaining an active freelance career. Originally from Spokane, Washington, Chris graduated from Whitworth University (BA '05) before moving to Rochester and finishing a MM from the Eastman School of Music in 2009

David Miller
Dave Miller (drums) is a freelance performer, composer and educator living in Brooklyn, NY. Originally from Grinnell, IA, Miller moved to New York in the spring of 2007 after graduating cum laude from the Jazz Studies program at William Paterson University.
While attending Willy P he worked closely with artists Kevin Norton, Bill Goodwin, Marcus McLaurine, {{m: Tyshawn Sorey = 15346}} and {{m: Mulgrew Miller = 9406}} and has since been very active on the music scene performing and recording with artists including {{John Mosca}}, {{Josh Lopes}} TELL THE AUDIENT VOID, {{Daniel Carter}}, the Demian Richardson Quartet, {{m: Tom Zlabinger = 2678}}, Chris DiMeglio, Jonas Labhart, poet Bob Holman, bluesman Sean T. Hanratty, {{m: Blaise Siwula = 16947}}, {{m: Ras Moshe = 21940}}, Daniel Johnston, {{Daniel Levin}}, Catherine Sikora and the collective known as THREE DAVES with David Moss on bass and David Schnug on reeds. Dave can be seen performing regularly at Goodbye Blue Monday and Stain Bar (both in Brooklyn), leading his trio Word Games, running his own music education business or managing at the Bowery Poetry Club. Diego Pinera
The drummer Diego Pinera grew up in Montevideo (Uruguay) and has now been living in Germany for several years. He studied drumming at the Berklee College of Music (USA), at the University of Music in Havana (Cuba) and at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Leipzig. He received lessons from Danilo Perez, Bob Moses, Jose Luis Quintana ‘Changuito’, and Kenwood Denard. Back in Uruguay he founded the Diego Pinera Trio and recorded the CD Buscando with the Perro Andaluz label. Magnus Ostrom

Magnus Öström was born in Skultuna, Sweden as second son to local painter Arne and Siv Öström. His brother, Tommy, was three years older and influenced Magnus in his early years with his eclectic record collection including Jimi Hendrix, Deep Purple, Allman Brothers and Lynyrd Skynyrd. At the age of eight Magnus built his first drum kit out of his fathers empty paint cans and only a year later he started his first band together with a kid from across the street, Esbjörn Svensson. In 1978 his brother took him to a concert of Billy Cobham with John McLaughlin, an experience that turned his musical world upside down and got him into jazz-rock. In 1985 Magnus moved to Stockholm to study at the Royal Conservatory of Music where he immediately started to play in different bands on Stockholm’s jazz scene
