Miki Matsuki

Drummer Miki Matsuki was born in Matsuyama, Japan. She moved to the United States to study jazz at the Berklee College of Music in 1996. During her school years, Ms. Matsuki’s band was selected “Best of Berklee” in 2000. Since graduating from Berklee, she has performed and recorded in various musical settings including soundtrack work, the performances at the radio and television broadcasting stations, the concerts at the Symphony Hall, a tour of Korea, etc. Ms. Matsuki has performed with great musicians including Wynton Marsalis, Joanne Brackeen, George Garzone, Darren Barrett, Dave Bryant, Stan Strickland, Charlie Kohlhase, Eric Hofbauer, Garrison Fewell and many others

T. Howard Curtis III, born in Williamburg, VA, but now living and working in Graz, Austria has been enjoying a multifaceted career as jazz drummer, percussionist and educator for over 30 years.

Jeff began to play drums in the sixth grade. Then In 1975, Jeff’s first stepping stone was attending the Shenandoah Conservatory of Music. — One of Jeff’s dreams finally came true when he was accepted to Berklee in 1977. While at Berklee, Jeff studied under Bob Kaufman and Bill Norine, he attended clinics given by Alan Dawson and was taken under by his mentor Lee Venters. Jeff was lucky enough to attend Berklee with an impressive cast of musicians like Branford Marsalis, Bill Frisell, Mike Stern and Jeff Watts, Kevin Eubanks, Dean Parks, Steve Vai, just to name a few. While studying at Berklee, Jeff met and played in a band with Steve Vai and Baron Brown called “Winter”
