Ollie Howell

Ollie Howell is a multi-award winning drummer, composer and bandleader. Currently based in London, and already establishing a name for himself both in the UK and abroad, Ollie is wowing audiences around the globe with his creativity, dynamism and stunning improvisation, as well as a critically acclaimed debut album ‘Sutures and Stitches’. Since 2009, Ollie has also become a mentee of musical legend Quincy Jones. After first watching Ollie perform, Quincy quickly became Ollie’s mentor and is continually helping to propel his career. In 2014, Ollie was awarded a Sky Academy Arts Scholarship, in association with Sky and Ideas Tap, and is the first ever jazz recipient to receive this prestigious accolade.

Ben Zweig, originally from Randolph, New Jersey, began playing drum set at age 5. At a young age he developed a wide range of interests, additionally playing trumpet, traditional Trini folk music on steel pans, and performing as a classical percussionist with All-State, All-Eastern, and All-Natioanal student orchestras. He currently works professionally throughout the NYC area performing and recording with esteemed musicians such as Cecil Bridgewater, Paul Bollenback, David Wong, Arturo O'Farrill, Michael Dease, Dave Stryker, Curtis Lundy, Joel Press, and Freddie Hendrix. Ben also performs regularly with the Grammy nominated JC Hopkin's Biggish Band

He is a graduate of American Broadcasting School where he studied radio broadcasting, and is a former student of Old Dominion University where he studied acting and drama. He served four years in the US Navy. A few acting credits in film and TV are Wishbone, Night Stalker, Bandit, Walker Texas Ranger, High Ambitions, etc. And, a few commercial credits are McDonald's, TGI Friday's, American Airlines, etc. Some Broadcasting credits are KLTY 94.9, KNON 89.3, etc., and is currently with KKEIRADIO.COM, The Tony Key Morning Show

Artt Frank

Hall of Fame Bop drummer/composer/lyricist/vocalist Artt Frank was born in the small paper mill town of Westbrook, Maine on March 9, 1933, and is best known for his long-term association with trumpet immortal Chet Baker, with whom he worked on and off for 14 years. Artt has also been associated with an impressive list of jazz luminaries over the past sixty years including the great Charlie Parker, Tadd Dameron, Dexter Gordon, Sonny Stitt, Miles Davis, Bud Powell, singer Billie Holiday and many others. Artt is also an ex-professional fighter. ARTT FRANK, bop drummer/composer, is part of a dying breed -one of the few authentic bop musicians on the scene today
