John Moore
A native Kansan, drummer Johnny Moore began playing professionally in High School and began a full-time career in music in 1970. While in Lawrence, Kansas, he performed with many local groups, including Paul Gray and the Gaslight Gang, which did extensive touring playing concerts and giving clinics in schools and colleges. They were also National Arts Council artists and performed at the Jacksonville, Florida and Wichita, Kansas jazz festivals more than once. In 1982, he performed in the band for the Four Freshmen and the Platters in the show room of the Dunes Hotel in Las Vegas. Also, He performed in the house rhythm section at the Jazzhaus in Lawrence, backing up Clark Terry, Herb Ellis, Bob Brookmeyer and Jay McShann. In 1984, he and his family moved to Sarasota, Florida

George Heid III
Born:
George Heid III is a drummer, percussionist, and composer whose diverse musical passions range from jazz and classical to world and electronic genres. George grew up in his father’s recording studio and began playing drums and piano at age 3. In this environment, he was always immersed in music and surrounded by powerful musical influences, such as jazz guitarist Jimmy Ponder and his uncle Bill Heid, a world-class pianist and Hammond B3 jazz musician. George graduated from Pittsburgh’s Creative and Performing Arts high school, where he was mentored by jazz drumming legend Roger Humphries

Attila Gyárfás (1990) is a Hungarian drummer, composer, and improvisor, who has appeared on over 20 records and has performed at a great number of major venues and festivals all over Europe, such as the Bimhuis in Amsterdam, the Palace of Arts in Budapest, and the Porgy & Bess in Vienna. As member of various groups, he has won several awards, including the European Young Artists' Jazz Award Burghausen 2017 and the Keep an Eye - The Records in 2015. He graduated at the Royal Conservatory of the Hague with Cum Laude honours, and he earned his master’s degree at the Conservatory of Amsterdam

Robert Elchert

Robert has been playing and recording drums professionally for over 20 years. During this time, he has played with Jubal (Jazz/Fusion), Jupiter Hollow (Rock), The Project (Jazz/Fusion), and Bill Smith (Rock) and several other bands and artists. He also studied with Motown great and jazz legend, Mel Brown and has had lessons with Paul Wertico, Byron "Wookie" Landham, and Jon Fishman. Having multiple influences and experience in several different types of bands has helped Robert develop a unique sound. Elements of Elvin Jones, Billy Cobham, Art Blakey, and others can be heard in his playing along with influences from Brazilian Samba and West African drumming

Clarence Smith

Clarence Smith is coordinator of music at Metropolitan Community College-Penn Valley, where he teaches jazz history, music appreciation, and percussion. He also teaches on the college's Longview and Blue River campuses, and directs jazz ensembles at both Penn Valley and Blue River. In addition, he is the associate director of Kansas City Youth Jazz, a non-profit organization offering jazz education and performance to students in grades six through twelve.
