After studies at the Swiss Jazz School in Berne and the Berklee College of Music in Boston he started his career as a drummer both in Europe and in the U.S. Also a studied composer and arranger his credits include film- scoring, chamber music and orchestral works. He received several awards among others from the Swiss Composer’s Guild, from the European Forum for Culture and from the Clavel Foundation. Beside many other musical activities he is leading his own bands "The Jazzlounge" - a hip, jazzy lounge- band and "SIGNS" his concert band.

Jerry was born in Cleveland, Ohio. At the age of five his family moved to Harrison, NY in Westchester county. In the 4th grade he started taking clarinet lessons. In the very first report card that year, his music teacher wrote Jerry shows absolutely no interest in the clarinet! He switched over to saxophone with only a little more success. Ironically it was that same year that Jerry’s brother Rick Marotta brought home the drum kit that would change both their lives for good. ​Cut to Jerry graduating from Harrison High in the summer of 1973 (a year early) and taking his final exams on the road with him

John Moore

A native Kansan, drummer Johnny Moore began playing professionally in High School and began a full-time career in music in 1970. While in Lawrence, Kansas, he performed with many local groups, including Paul Gray and the Gaslight Gang, which did extensive touring playing concerts and giving clinics in schools and colleges. They were also National Arts Council artists and performed at the Jacksonville, Florida and Wichita, Kansas jazz festivals more than once. In 1982, he performed in the band for the Four Freshmen and the Platters in the show room of the Dunes Hotel in Las Vegas. Also, He performed in the house rhythm section at the Jazzhaus in Lawrence, backing up Clark Terry, Herb Ellis, Bob Brookmeyer and Jay McShann. In 1984, he and his family moved to Sarasota, Florida

George Heid III

George Heid III is a drummer, percussionist, and composer whose diverse musical passions range from jazz and classical to world and electronic genres. George grew up in his father’s recording studio and began playing drums and piano at age 3. In this environment, he was always immersed in music and surrounded by powerful musical influences, such as jazz guitarist Jimmy Ponder and his uncle Bill Heid, a world-class pianist and Hammond B3 jazz musician. George graduated from Pittsburgh’s Creative and Performing Arts high school, where he was mentored by jazz drumming legend Roger Humphries
