Felix Schlarmann Group

FELIX SCHLARMANN GROUP The Felix Schlarmann Group is led by drummer Felix Schlarmann (Germany, 1982). "This versatile drummer’s music consists of fragile melodies and energetic explosions; an emotional sound filled with contradiction." Somewhere placed in the style of modern melodic jazz, the listener will have to find his own way in order to find a name for it. Schlarmann's writing and sound idea is influenced by different composers of the younger European and American scene; not only from jazz, since sound, energy and emotions are the most important factors for him. The musicians in the group belong to the rising stars of the young Dutch scene and form a strong unit playing together for a long time
