I have been in a number of bands over the years. Ones worth mentioning: The Koboliz: 1991-1993 A thrash band that probably sounded too much like Forbidden for its own good but oh well. We recorded a 3 song demo tape that got a solid review in Metal Maniacs way back when. We played a lot in the north bay being based in Angwin near St. Helena. I also met Jake and Ari of StageSen during this time. Earlier this year I did some rehearsals and played a show with Outrage. At the moment I'm writing about drumming at and teaching kids. Unfortunately, they are based too far from me to be able give my all to

Diego Joaquin Ramirez

New York City-based drummer Diego Joaquin Ramirez was born and raised in Cork, Ireland. He played his first gig on drum set with his fathers’ band at age 4 and by the time he was 17, Diego was performing regularly around Ireland and Europe. He attended Berklee College Of Music, The Banff International Jazz Workshop, the Betty Carter Jazz Ahead Program, and has studied with Ralph Peterson Jr, Terri Lyne Carrington, Nate Smith, Rodney Green, Andre Antunes, Jamey Haddad, Clarence Penn, and Tyshawn Sorey. He is a current member of numerous NYC-based groups including Marc Cary & The Harlem Sessions (Residency at Smoke Jazz Club), Wayne Tucker and The Bad Motha's, and his own group SULA

Jon Sheckler

At a young age Jon Sheckler is proving to be a well versed musician and a up and coming band leader in the Seattle area. As a drummer, Jon has had the opportunity to play with some of today's leading players including trumpeter Clay Jenkins, award winning vocalist Catherine Jensen-Hole, Chicago bluesman Al Rowe, and Seattle jazz luminaries Chad McCullough, Reuel Lubag, Mark Taylor, Jay Wienstien, Darrius Willrich, Jim Cutler, Todd Delgudice, Ryan Keberle, Rob Tapper, Jonathan Pugh, Dan Keberle and percussionist Micheal Spiro. During his time at the University of Northern Colorado he has performed with distinction with Jazz Lab II, Percussion Ensemble I, and the University Wind Ensemble

Fernando García

Born in San Juan and raised in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, García studied guitar at the extension program of the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico and drumset at Micheo Music Academy, while later receiving a bachelor’s degree in Música Popular from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico. Furthermore, he was awarded the Juan Luis Guerra Scholarship to complete a master’s degree in Contemporary Performance at Berklee College of Music, Valencia, Spain. Currently, he is finishing a second master’s degree in Music Education at Teachers College Columbia University. In New York City, he has established himself as a drummer, percussionist, composer, and educator
