Dimitar Bodurov

Dimitar was born on the 17th of September, 1979 in Bulgaria. Since he was 8, he has been constantly involved in music - singing in a choir, playing trombone, saxophone, piano and drums in the Music High school in Varna, Bulgaria. But his affinity for jazz and improvisation developed at home, picking up favourite melodies from the radio and records. Later, his passion for piano took over and he was admitted in Sofia Conservatory of Music with Major ‘jazz piano’ . In Sofia he performed as a leader or a sideman in various jazz clubs, at festivals, TV shows. Since 2000, Dimitar has been working and studying in the Netherlands
