Davu Seru

Twin Cities drummer Davu Seru has worked with numerous improvising musicians and composers throughout the United States and France including Milo Fine, Paul Metzger, Didier Petit, Joachim Badenhorst, Anthony Cox, Dean Granros, Catherine Delaunay, Rafael Toral, Dean Magraw, Jack Wright, Evan Parker, George Cartwright, Guillaume Seguron, David Boykin and Nicole Mitchell. He leads the group No Territory Band (ft. JC Sanford, Nathan Hanson, Pat O'Keefe, Jake Baldwin, Scott Fultz and Levi Schwartzberg) who released their debut recording 2018. For his efforts, Davu has received awards from the American Composers Forum, the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, Minnesota State Arts Board and Jerome Foundation and commissions from the Zeitgeist Ensemble and Walker Art Center.
