A collaboration between Taiwanese vocalist Li Liu and Canadian guitarist Ben Holt, Song Dynasty has been serenading audiences with their unique sounds since the group’s inception in 2015. Meeting in Denton, Texas, the duo decided to explore their musical differences and began cultivating a sound all their own. Liu began her music career while a university student of Chinese literature in Taiwan. She quickly rose to the top of the Taipei jazz scene, winning awards and accolades, eventually becoming one of the most sought-after voices in Taiwan. Seeking new inspiration and a deeper background in jazz, Liu relocated to the United States. Pianist, composer and educator Dave Meder is quickly becoming one of the prominent artists of his generation, known for a panoramic, genre-bending approach that has earned him slots in the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Piano Competition and the American Pianists Awards. He has performed in some of New York’s most hallowed rooms, including several headlining stands at Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola, and internationally at the Tokyo Jazz Festival, Torino Jazz Festival, and others. In 2013, Meder won the esteemed Jacksonville Jazz Piano Competition. His debut album, Passage (Outside In Music, 2019), is a dynamically interactive piano-trio outing boasting appearances by the generation-defining saxophonists Chris Potter and Miguel Zenón. Meder is also a skilled composer-arranger, having earned an ASCAP Young Jazz Composer Award, the FirstMusic Commission of the New York Youth Symphony, and a slot in the BMI Jazz Composers Workshop
When you see Ross Redmond perform, you’re just as likely to hear him sing an 80s rock tune by The Cars as you are to hear the latest Justin Timberlake single. You’ll probably hear some Herbie Hancock or a samba remix of an old doo- wop song if he’s really having fun. Ross is a pianist, vocalist, writer, and producer who has been working professionally in the Dallas/Fort Worth music scene since 2005. He comes from a musical family and studied both classical and jazz piano at the University of North Texas, as well as percussion and drum set. These days he splits his time between several musical jobs including writing and producing at Forsbach Productions, fronting his wedding band High Definition, performing solo at various Dallas venues, playing keyboard for various DFW churches, and performing with Dallas rock band Jackopierce

An accomplished pianist/keyboardist, vocalist, trombonist, composer, and arranger, Dr. Bogle currently calls Dallas, TX his home where he is Professor of Commercial Music at Cedar Valley College, teaching Jazz Piano, Jazz Keyboard Ensemble, Commercial Composition/Orchestration, MIDI, Synthesis, and Digital Music Production. Dr. Bogle wrote his first big band chart at age 14, graduated from high school at age 16, and entered the University of Miami School of Studio Music and Jazz on a performance scholarship that same year
