Daddie Long legs is a rootsy, funk laden, rock quartet from outside Providence, Rhode Island. Starting out in 2004, DLL has been working hard rehearsing, playing gigs and winning over a loyal local following. This blend of high energy, groove driven rock music results from an eclectic list of musical inspiration-Bob Marley, Phish, Pink Floyd, Steve Vai, Cream, The Grateful Dead, etc. The band relies on its diverse musical influence in order to win over fans. The wide variety yet quality of covers thrown in during shows is always helping to grow the DLL fan base. Tim Doyle is the guitar player as well as main singer/songwriter for the band
