CURTIS ROUSH

COMPOSER · MULTI-INSTRUMENTALIST · BERKLEE 1980 · AUCKLAND, NZ

DEBUT ALBUM · OUTSIDE THE IN-BOX · 10 JUNE 2026 For thirty-three years, Curtis Roush sat in the dark.

Not literally — though the rooms weren't far off. The editing suites of Hollywood, fluorescent-free zones humming with playback decks and console lights, where music editors ensure that composers' visions reach the screen exactly as intended — every cue spotted, synced, and shaped into scenes. A Few Good Men. Starship Troopers. X-Men. The Hunger Games. More than a hundred feature films, thousands of hours of someone else's music run through his hands and his ears. Roush was one of the best in the business. And all the while, quietly, he was writing his own.
