Barry Wilson Music

Barry Wilson has been recording his debut album for the last year due to be out early 2018. 22 musicians across Ireland have featured so far with members from such bands as Notify, Strung, Gemma Sugrue from Jenny Greene and RTE Orchestra, Paul Dunlea Big Band, Rowan and Shookrah. The first half was recorded by Portuguese sound engineer Eduardo Moreira. He is currently recording the latter half of the album with sound engineer and Mick Flannery drummer Christian Best (Who also recorded albums for Jack O' Rourke, Marc O' Reilly and many others). On November 1st 2017 he released his debut single entitled Starlight featuring Sara Ryan

NOTIFY

At the crossroads of a new movement in Irish music, NOTIFY breathes new life into their music and song, with "a musical tapestry that ranges from soft melodies to crashing crescendos". Centred around the wizardry of Concertina player and electronic sound designer Pádraig Rynne, the band is anchored by Cillian King on Guitars & Vocals, Eoin Walsh on Electric Bass, Davie Ryan on Drums and Cormac McCarthy on Piano and Keyboards. The band delivers an evocative repertoire of original melody compositions and songs, produced with sensitive electronic overlays and inventive arrangements that are "cinematic in scope" (New York Echo). NOTIFY seamlessly fuses a deep knowledge and respect for musical tradition with forward thinking innovation in a tasteful way that connects with audiences worldwide

Han-earl Park

Improviser, guitarist and constructor Han-earl Park (박한얼) has been crossing borders and performing fuzzily idiomatic, on occasion experimental, always traditional, open improvised musics for twenty years. He has performed in clubs, theaters, art galleries, concert halls, and (ad-hoc) alternative spaces across Europe and the USA.

Ensembles include Eris 136199 with Nick Didkovsky and Catherine Sikora, Sirene 1009 with Dominic Lash, Mark Sanders and Caroline Pugh, Mathilde 253 with Charles Hayward and Ian Smith, and Numbers with Richard Barrett. Park is the constructor of the machine improviser io 0.0.1 beta++, and instigator of Metis 9, a playbook of improvisative tactics

Mark O'Leary

Mark O'Leary was born in Cork City Ireland.Being mainly auto didactic on guitar he moved to Los Angeles at the age of 17 to study at Musicians Institute,from where he later graduated. He has presented his music in 29 countries and has played at some of the worlds top Jazz festivals and contemporary Jazz venues. He has toured Europe as a member of Canadian Pianist Paul Bley's trio,he has performed in duo with Jack DeJohnette,in a jazz trio with Yes/King Crimson drummer Bill Bruford, in duo with Han Bennink,composed and performed classical music with Cikada string quartet,collaborated in an all electronics setting with Sound Artist Gunter Muller, Erdem Helveciouglu and Jakob Riis,in a free improvisation combo with Evan Parker and Sunny Murray, performed in concerts with Anders Jormin and Audun Kleive, played Norwegian folk music with Nils Okland, Swedish folk music with Mats Eden, Jazz with Uri Caine, he has performed in seperate projects with trumpeters Axel Dorner,Kenny Wheeler, Thomas Heberer and Jeff Kaiser

Martin Vallely

Belfast born jazz composer/songwriter is presently domiciled in his adoped home of cork city in the republic of IRELAND where he has been assembling a comprehensive body of original work culminating in the 2006 release of "debut" his maiden release as a jazz composer which has garnered considerable critical acclaim and the release of '12' which showcases his songwriting abilities. Martins musical history spans a career working with seminal cork oufits Soon and No Sangoma to working with acclaimed indie oufit Dear Wolf in germany with whom he recorded the acclaimed 'la spezia' Marins musical prowess is impressive to say the least
