Emmanuel Cremer is a French cellist, composer, improviser and educator based in Brussels.

For more than two decades, he has developed a personal artistic language at the crossroads of jazz, free improvisation, contemporary music and interdisciplinary performance. His work explores the cello as a complete sound world, moving between melody, rhythm, texture and spontaneous composition.

Influenced by artists such as John Coltrane, Ornette Coleman, Jimi Hendrix, Bill Frisell, John Zorn and Barre Phillips, Cremer has shaped an approach rooted in deep listening, exploration and the dialogue between structure and improvisation.

Jeanette Lindström is one of Sweden’s leading jazzsingers and composers. In January she won a SwedishGrammis for Best Jazz Album of the Year with her latestalbum "Attitude & Orbit Control".She has that ability to set the imagination of the listener inmovement - with her voice, her music as well as with herwords. Her sixth solo album Attitude & Orbit Control is hardproof. A space odessey of sorts, interpersonal as well asinterstellar. Kulusé Souriant

Born: October 16, 1988

Deeply connected to his Caribbean roots as well as his early jazz influences, Kulusé Souriant is a versatile and always passionate drummer who has found his own voice by exploring many musical configurations. He was the composer and the bandleader of the contemporary jazz quintet Markit Zero with whom he played in many french venues and festivals (Jazz in Marciac, Sunset/Sunside…) from 2013 to 2019.

Kulusé grew up in a jazz musician family and is very attached to this music. Along his career, he played in many jazz bands such as Two Slides, Art Bop Jazztet or Swing Vandals. Loving jazz didn’t prevent him to play in various other contexts including a forty drummers band (Ali Baba et les 40 batteurs) for ten years, a tour in Turkey with the rockabilly band Jerry Khan Bangers, a rock band with Maddy Keita, and to explore many creative music (Aram, Le Chantier, High Key…). He always was a substitute of choice in the Toulouse music scene, being able to adapt to any genre. His curiosity prompted him to live in Rio de Janeiro in 2019 and travel South-America for two years.

Andrei Marian

Born: January 23, 1989

Andrei Marian is a vibraphonist, composer, and improviser from Chișinău, Moldova, whose work explores the intersection of contemporary jazz and free improvisation. His music is characterized by textural sensitivity, fluid forms, and a focus on interaction in small-ensemble settings.

He began his musical journey in Moldova and later continued his studies in Belgium at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, where he worked with internationally recognized musicians and absorbed the influence of the European improvised music scene. This experience played a defining role in shaping his artistic voice and approach to collective playing.

Clovis Nicolas

After having established himself as a first-call bass player on the European scene (performances with Dee Dee Bridgewater, Brad Mehldau, Michel Legrand,..), jazz bassist Clovis Nicolas moved from France to New York in 2002. Since then, he has shared the stage in numerous venues (Jazz Standard, Smalls Jazz Club, Blue Note, 55 Bar, Kennedy Center, Smoke, Jazz Gallery, Birdland, Alice Tully Hall, Dizzy’s Club...) with some of today's most prominent jazz musicians, such as Jeremy Pelt, Grant Stewart, Harry Allen, Branford Marsalis, Curtis Fuller, Benny Powell, James Williams, Peter Bernstein, Joe Magnarelli, Marcus Gilmore, Sachal Vasandani, Eric Alexander, Carl Allen, Greg Hutchinson, and Dan Nimmer.

Mats Skimmelå

Born: August 29, 1965

Mats was born in 1965 and grew up in Butorp, Deje, Sweden. He started playing the piano at the age of 10 but switched to guitar after 4 years. There, Mats made a groundbreaking discovery, that you could play chords instead of playing as it was written on the score, this was a milestone in Mats' musical life. He switched back to piano and at the age of 18 he discovered jazz music. However, it was impossible to find someone who could teach Mats to play jazz piano in the area where he grew up and the internet did not exist at that time. In 1987, Mats began studying music at Liljeholmen Folk High School and there he began to learn how to play jazz on the piano, the first song Mats learned was Misty. In 1991, Mats began studying music at Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA. In 1994 he graduated there and moved back to Sweden. In 1995, Mats moved to Stockholm and worked there as a freelance musician in many different constellations. In 2017 Mats moved to Mariestad where he now lives.

John Sweenie

Born: March, 1988

Already known for high-energy and risk-embracing performances, Canadian tenor saxophonist and composer John Sweenie builds his music from that same forward motion—using the urgency of the bandstand as the engine for a language rooted in the bebop lineage while drawing from modern jazz and indie-rock aesthetics. In his work, strong melodic design and elastic rhythm become the means through which he pushes harmonic language to its edge, not as effect, but as a natural extension of that drive.

From the bandstand to the page, that same approach shapes Sweenie’s work: he writes music that frames both individual and collective improvisation, allowing spontaneity to unfold within a clear structural arc. His projects have received support from major arts organizations, and he is the recipient of national awards recognizing his artistic excellence.
