Adeline Yeo

Adeline Yeo is an unsigned Indie Musician based in Asia region. With no prior musical knowledge and experience, she stumbled upon a new music program and she began her music compositions in her Indie music journey. As she keep on practising her craft, her fingers became more nimble and soon she was able to produce beautiful melodies. She felt that music brightens up her life and she hoped to do it to others.
In 2021, Adeline has been affiliated with BMI and SoundExchange as a writer in their performing rights organizations. In 2023, she joined in ISSA (International Singer-Songwriters Association) as their member for her artist exposure and to promote global singer-songwriters initiatives as a part of it. Jesse Palter

During the 2020 lockdown while sidelined from gigging and regular income streams, Jesse Palter was determined to stay in a positive mindset. She engaged by putting a home recording rig together so that she could record a few singles about the pandemic. Reaching out to her friend Jake Bass, they did some virtual collaborating and put the finishing touches on two of her soulful and upbeat infectious tracks, “Better Days” and “2020 Vision.”
She also realized that Nothing Standard, her swinging, soulful retrospective jazz album that was sidelined when she signed with Artistry Music/Mack Avenue, needed to come out. At the time, the label chose to launch her as a pop/rock artist. Jesse is proud of her 2019 album Paper Trail and considers it “a huge part of my musical journey.” But free now from the confines of a label machine, she reveals her innermost truths as the talented jazz vocalist and songwriter that she’s always been.

Teri Parker

Born:
Teri Parker (MA, BMus) is a jazz pianist, composer, and bandleader based in Toronto, Canada. Born into a musical family, Parker gravitated towards the rich history and creative possibilities of jazz while still in high school; when it came time to apply for post-secondary schooling, she was accepted into the University of Toronto’s prestigious Jazz Studies program. It was at U of T that Parker had the opportunity to study with prominent educators who would prove foundational in her development as an artist, including celebrated instrumentalists and composers such as Dave Restivo, David Braid, and Phil Nimmons, Director Emeritus of Jazz Studies. After graduating from U of T, Parker continued her studies independently; as the winner of successive grants from the Ontario Arts Council and the Toronto Arts Council, she was able to continue learning with world-renowned artists in New York and Europe, including Sophia Rosoff, Aaron Goldberg, Guillermo Klein, Fred Hersch, and Enrico Pieranunzi.

Mehmet Ali Sanlikol

Born:
Grammy nominated composer and CMES Harvard University fellow (2013-15) Mehmet Ali Sanlıkol made his Carnegie Hall debut in April 2016 premiering his commissioned piece Harabat/The Intoxicated with the American Composers Orchestra. Other recent works have been heard at Tanglewood’s Ozawa Hall and on A Far Cry string orchestra’s several different recordings. He hails from Cyprus and Turkey, and is a Jazz pianist, a multi-instrumentalist, a singer, an ethnomusicologist as well as a full-time faculty member at the New England Conservatory. Sanlıkol was the recipient of numerous respected awards including the South Arts Jazz Road Creative Residency Grant in 2021, The Aaron Copland Fund for Music Grant twice in 2016 and 2020 as well as the New Music USA Project Grant in 2020 and has been praised by critics all over the world for his unique, pluralist, multicultural and energetic musical voice. The Boston Globe noted that Sanlıkol’s “music is colorful, fanciful, full of rhythmic life, and full of feeling. The multiculturalism is not touristy, but rather sophisticated, informed, internalized; Sanlıkol is a citizen of the world”, “…and he (Sanlıkol) is another who could play decisive role in music’s future in the world.”

Roy Ben Bashat

Born:
Guitarist, composer, and songwriter born and raised in Tel Aviv, Israel. Roy Ben Bashat was recognized as a prodigy from a young age and was accepted into the jazz music department at the prestigious Thelma Yelin school for the arts. During high school, he played with renowned jazz artists in Israel and performed at local venues and festivals. In 2017, he was granted a full schoarship from Berklee College of Music, and relocated to Boston in 2018.
Roy Ben Bashat graduated from Berklee College of Music and moved to Brooklyn, NY in 2022. Shortly after moving to NYC, Ben Bashat started playing with some of the Jazz leaders in the city, including Luis Perdomo, Eric McPherson, Lex Korten, Noah Preminger, among others.

Often, I think it happens to everyone, a certain music is inextricably linked to an instant of life or an emotion, if you think back to that instant the song comes to mind, and when you listen to the song you relive those same emotions.
I believe that my need to compose comes from here, when I experience something peculiar, which is good, bad, more or less important for any reason, and then I sit at the piano to improvise a bit, a music comes out, linked to that memory, and the desire to share it.

Dominick “Domo” Branch is a Bi-coastal drummer, composer, and educator from Portland, Oregon. He leads his own band “Branchin’ Out” and is also co-leader of the Brown Branch Jazz Orchestra.
