John Evans and Dream

Prior to releasing four albums of his own original music, composer/arranger John Evans had been best known for his work with saxophonist David Sanborn on the RIAA certified gold, Grammy-nominated album, HIDEAWAY. Evans composed and co-penned with Sanborn, the tune that became the single release for the album. This past year, Evans released three successful music videos. One of them, "All I Wanna' Do is Dance" has already received over one million views on YouTube. John Goldman Quadrangle

John Goldman began his professional career in his home town Portland, Oregon with some of the area's best musicians such as Tom Grant, David Friesen, and Jeff Lorber. After years of playing, composing and teaching on the west coast, John decided on the suggestion and encouragement of saxophone great Eddie Harris, to relocate in Chicago. Since moving to Chicago in 1988, John has added to his already eclectic influence from the West Coast. He has performed extensively with Brazilian musicians Paulino Garcia, Chicago Samba, and Luciano Antonio, as well as Latin Jazz artists Ruben Alvarez, Silvia Sossa, and Tito Carrillo. He has performed with the Chicago Jazz Ensemble, and the Chicago Jazz Orchestra.

Michael George Gonzalez

Born: June 20, 1976

Michael George Gonzalez delivers a fresh sound with a classic quality that pays homage to the legacy of American music. His sultry voice and prolific guitar playing engage the ear with creative phrasing and thoughtful dynamics. Michael was born and raised in New York. The rich history and diverse cultural influences fostered his exploration of musical creativity. From an early age Michael was active in the arts; playing trumpet, singing in choir, and performing musical theater. At 20, he picked up with guitar and began writing songs. He studied music composition and jazz studies at North Seattle CC under Carol Sams and jazz studies with Fred Radke (Harry James Orchestra)

Jared F. Burrell

At a young age, Jared was accomplished in his love of music. He began his education at the University of Amherst, studying Jazz and African American Music Studies; and in 2008 earned his Master of Music, Jazz Composition, degree from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, MA. Having travelled abroad to perform, and now visiting more locally, the wonder of sound and the reciprocal effect on life, always keeps a sparkle in his eyes. Jared shares that he is evolving a new style of sound using deep, flowing textures. "My music is a blend of various cultural retentions. My goal in composition is to choreograph sonic choices that reflect values whose origins are mysterious and inexplicable

4th Ward Afro Klezmer Orchestra

The 4th Ward Afro-Klezmer Orchestra is an original Atlanta musical entity; a nine piece jazz orchestra playing original compositions and arrangements that combine West African influenced rhythms with Eastern European Klezmer melodies. The 4th Ward A.K.O., led by trumpet player/composer Roger Ruzow, boasts a roster of veteran Atlanta talent which features Colin Bragg (guitar), Chris Case (keyboard), Jeff Crompton (clarinet, alto & baritone sax), Ben Davis (tenor sax & clarinet), Chip Epsten (violin). Ergo's music is one of stark melodic beauty, enveloping electro-acoustic texture and empathic imagination. In attempts to describe their sound critics have compared them to music as diverse as Duke Ellington, Autechre, Sigur Ros, Sun Ra, and King Crimson. In 2003, trombonist and composer Brett Sroka began exploring beyond his Jazz background and became fascinated with electronic music, surrounding himself with synthesizers and software. As he sought to reconcile the six hundred years of technology between trombone and computer he also found, in keyboardist Carl Maguire and drummer Shawn Baltazor, musicians of similarly elastic and adventurous temperaments

Ian Wilson

Born: December 26, 1964

Ian Wilson was born in Belfast in 1964 and obtained the first DPhil in composition to be awarded by the University of Ulster which, in 1993, commissioned his orchestral work Rise in celebration of the tenth anniversary of its foundation. His music has been performed and broadcast on six continents by artists such as the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland, the Ulster, Belgrade Philharmonic and Norwegian Radio Orchestras, the London Mozart Players and the Irish Chamber Orchestra, the Artis, Callino, Carducci and Vanbrugh Quartets, Argento and Avanti! ensembles, Catherine Leonard and Hugh Tinney

Gokul Salvadi is a Carnatic singer from India. He is from Palani, a small town of south India. He is a Composer, Singer. He plays few Indian instruments the one he play professionally is his larynx. He started as a Carnatic (Traditional south Indian classical music) vocalist, his early training started with Violin. He learnt Carnatic vocal from Shri Lakshi Narasimhan a veteran Nadhaswaram artist in India. Gokul gives live vocal concerts, produces Avant Garde instrumentals and soundtracks. He is affiliated to STIM.

I started my musical journey at the age of 8, playing guitar, for different school bands, also composing music since then. during my early years I focused on latin american music, trova, rock, pop and some related geners, eventually i passed through some classical training, funk, peruvian rythms and finally i end up in the jazz, fusion thing, and i've been there for a good time now, playing in any gig i can get, everything from bebop to contemporary jazz. I have been very lucky to be trained by the best musicians peru has to offer, people such as Alonso Acosta, Diego salvador, Monica Gastelumendi, Laura robles, etc
