Over the years, Erik developed as a serious jazz artist and set up his own artist driven stages in Amsterdam (hutspot, langereis, thuis a/d Amstel) where he regularly invites some of the finest jazz performers. His debut album people flow will be released december 2020. This record will consist of his own compositions and arrangements and will feature mainly his trio with daniel van dalen on drums, hendrik müller on bass and bart wirtz and teus nobel as guests. After graduating from the conservatories of utrecht (bachelor) and the hague (master), pianist Erik Verwey (1987) worked for many years as a composer and accompanist of various successful theater and cabaret programs

Jean-Michel Leblanc is a multi-instrumentalist and composer active in in Quebec, Canada. As a sideman, he participated as an accompanist, arranger and co-composer for various artists such as "Mégane Cyr" and progressive rock band "Citizens", and is now an active member of experimental musical ensembles "The Plastic Waste Band" and "Le Jager". Johanna Pitkänen

Johanna Pitkänen is a pianist and composer from Helsinki. She has explored the musical globe from Scandinavia to Cuba and from different parts of Africa to Spain. Pitkänen writes music by commission and performs on solo piano and with duos and trios. Her oldest ongoing group is Kokko Quartet, a Finnish jazz group using world music influences in their music. The group has released two albums, their latest release is Orient Express from 2016. Pitkänen also writes music for film. In 2019 she released electronic music together with producer Satu Nieminen Pitkänen graduated from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences with a Bachelor’s degree in Pop and Jazz Music

Alex Lefaivre

Alex Lefaivre is a bassist, composer, and educator based in Montreal, whose musical prowess and versatile talent have won over audiences and critics alike. He co-founded the Parc X Trio, a jazz group that won the TD Grand Prize for Jazz at the Festival de Jazz de Montréal in 2010 and has produced seven albums.

In addition to his group work, Alex has released two albums with the Alex Lefaivre Quartet, YUL (2018) and Naufragés (2021). Their sound draws from the jazz tradition, blending original compositions with covers that reflect Alex’s contemporary aesthetic and visceral tone. With a cinematic style interwoven with a gritty, metropolitan edge, both albums have garnered critical acclaim for their mature and cohesive musical vision.
