Kyle MacLeod

Son Of Ugly is a Brighton-based instrumental 5-piece, formed by multi-instrumentalist and composer Kyle Macleod in 2016. Born from a love of film soundtracks, B-movie sci-fi and 60's cartoons, Son Of Ugly created their own brand of music. The band's epic, theatrical style of cinematic rock, pulverizes you one moment and caresses you the next, with each song taking you on a different journey as the lead character in an ever-evolving soundscape. Jean-Michel Leblanc

Born: September 29, 1994

Jean-Michel Leblanc is a multi-instrumentalist and composer active in in Quebec, Canada. As a sideman, he participated as an accompanist, arranger and co-composer for various artists such as "Mégane Cyr" and progressive rock band "Citizens", and is now an active member of experimental musical ensembles "The Plastic Waste Band" and "Le Jager". His work with these groups, coupled with his numerous activities as a freelance musician, led him to perform all around Quebec and Canada. ​ As a composer, he synthesizes his hard rock roots with his passion for cinematic music and his love of modern pop with his fascination of contemporary classical music

Per Boysen

Born: November 15, 1955

Swedish multi instrumentalist and “electronician” Per Boysen is a crossover crusader that loves music, but not genres. Enthusiastic listeners have hinted at “EAM”, “Nu-Jazz”, “Psychedelic” or “Minimal” while some refer to “Sound Art”. On stage Per plays interactive electronics driven by an acoustic/mechanic/electric instrument. The palette spans the Alto Traverse Flute, the Tenor Sax, the Fretless Guitar, the Chapman Stick, Stick Guitar or the EWI (Electric Wind Instrument). Everything interconnected as a self designed meta instrument. Per Boysen has performed many live-looping shows around Europe and the US, both as a solo performer and with ensembles

Alexander Sill

Born: November 21, 1992

Modern jazz group SIMIO's members are young, yet tell an ever-changing story with virtuosity and maturity. The music is melodic and lyrical, sitting on the edge between improvisation and composition. With a cinematic experience, the audience sits in close during our performance; “I got carried away in a flow I didn’t want to get out of”. After the release of their debut EP Delusional, which got picked up very fast by national radio programs, producers, fellow musicians, record labels and magazines a.o in the US, their second EP A New Path shows their growth. Playing style has developed aswel as vision, which affects composition.

Johanna Pitkänen

Born: June 8, 1982

Johanna Pitkänen is a pianist and composer from Helsinki. She has explored the musical globe from Scandinavia to Cuba and from different parts of Africa to Spain. Pitkänen writes music by commission and performs on solo piano and with duos and trios. Her oldest ongoing group is Kokko Quartet, a Finnish jazz group using world music influences in their music. The group has released two albums, their latest release is Orient Express from 2016. Pitkänen also writes music for film. In 2019 she released electronic music together with producer Satu Nieminen Pitkänen graduated from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences with a Bachelor’s degree in Pop and Jazz Music

Sienná is a songwriter, producer, keyboardist, singer and experimental music sensation. As a Japanese live-electronic artist in Norway who has performed across Europe and Asia over 10 years, She not only acts as a unique innovator; but also fearlessly brings ‘no rules’ approach to creating improvisational mixes through a command of the avant-garde EDM genre consisting of electronica, house, jazz, and traditional-contemporary Japanese.

Sienná is known for collaborations with renowned artists including Nils Petter Molvaer, a psychedelic jazz trumpeter from Norway, Mick Karn, a deceased English bassist, and The Crazy World of Arthur Brown, where Sienná performed as an opening act to the band in the UK on several occasions.

Alex Lefaivre

Born: October 30, 1982

Alex Lefaivre is a bassist, composer, and educator based in Montreal, whose musical prowess and versatile talent have won over audiences and critics alike. He co-founded the Parc X Trio, a jazz group that won the TD Grand Prize for Jazz at the Festival de Jazz de Montréal in 2010 and has produced seven albums.

In addition to his group work, Alex has released two albums with the Alex Lefaivre Quartet, YUL (2018) and Naufragés (2021). Their sound draws from the jazz tradition, blending original compositions with covers that reflect Alex’s contemporary aesthetic and visceral tone. With a cinematic style interwoven with a gritty, metropolitan edge, both albums have garnered critical acclaim for their mature and cohesive musical vision.

Eamon Dilworth

Eamon Dilworth, whose trumpet “sometimes carries a blast of the raucous vibrancy associated with Balkan Gypsies or Spanish bullfight bands” (Sydney Morning Herald) has established himself as a trumpeter, creative musician & manager with regular performances across Europe, Australia & New Zealand alongside musicians from the far reaches of the genre-spectrum from improvised to mainstream-pop music. His collaborations extend from leading Tiny Hearts & The Dilworths, across to performing alongside seasoned jazz players Dale Barlow, James Muller & The Jazzgroove Mothership Orchestra, his contemporaries Paul Derricott, Steve Barry, Dave Jackson & Alex Boneham, Internationally as a guest with Nigel Kennedy (UK) and outside of jazz with Guy Sebastian with Lupe Fiasco, Jessica Mauboy, The Beautiful Girls & Caravana Sun.
