Sorin Zlat is an internationally acclaimed jazz pianist, composer, Yamaha Artist, and professor of jazz piano at the National University of Music Bucharest. Described by the EFG London Jazz Festival and NCPA Mumbai as “one of the leading jazz musicians of his generation,” and praised by London Jazz News as a “virtuoso pianist,” Sorin has established himself as one of the distinctive voices of contemporary European jazz. With more than 30 national and international awards, his career brings together virtuosity, expressive improvisation and a deeply personal compositional language.

Trigg and Gusset

Trigg & Gusset is a Dutch duo blending dark jazz, moody electronica, and cinematic tension into a distinctive and layered sound. Since their debut in 2013, they’ve carved out a unique space where melancholy, groove, and atmospheric depth meet.

At the heart of Trigg & Gusset is the collaboration between Trigg’s refined production and composition skills and Gusset’s expressive performances on tenor saxophone and bass clarinet. Their music moves between noir jazz, electronica and ambient, drawing influences from contemporary slow jazz, classical music, and minimalism.

THE NEW RECORD

Todd Caldwell’s latest project emerges from a shared love for the jazz organ trio. The resulting collaboration of Caldwell and New York guitarist and composer Chris Parker, the album takes shape as a dark, moody exploration that expands the jazz organ trio sound. After a series of local gigs honing these new songs, Todd and Chris headed to the studio, bringing in the accomplished drummer Josh Dion (Paris Monster, John Scofield) to complete the trio.

Recorded in one day at Atomic Sound in Red Hook, Brooklyn, the resulting album is a sonic experience that pulls listeners into an immersive, intimate world. With Josh Dion's impeccable sensitivity and groove paired with Chris Parker’s distinct voice on guitar, the trio creates a unique texture in today’s jazz landscape—one that balances complexity with an understated emotional depth and a reverence to melody. Caldwell’s Hammond organ fills the space with a voice both earthy and ethereal, weaving effortlessly between harmony and rhythm.

Symbiosis of electronic and acoustic sounds (Electronica, IDM, Fusion)

The Berlin based musicians Kai Kreowski (“bogsy”) and Mark Beumer (“Grey Paris”) are going on a musical journey to find new soundscapes and musical structures: On their way they combine electronic beats and analogue synthesizers with acoustic instruments like piano, bass, clarinet and guitar. These explorative processes are recorded simultaneously and improvised structures develop to multilayered compositions that cross musical genres and create a mélange of jazz, electronic and neo classical music.

Darren is a jazz pianist/composer/educator, keyboard session musician, & a modular synthesist based in Christchurch NZ.

His current projects include Darren Pickering Small Worlds (cinematic jazz quartet).
