The Celloman project began in 2001 with the release of Aquador followed by three further albums - Maya, the 2nd album of original material, a live album: It’s all an illusion and the 4th Celloman album Sharptown. Followed by the Acoustic Collection Vol.1 in Oct 2015. The Celloman band has performed extensively around the UK including most of the big festivals such as Glastonbury and Womad. They have performed in Serbia twice, Zanzibar, Holland and Spain. Cellist, Ivan Hussey was invited to perform a solo show at the International Cello Festival in Belgrade where he played to a packed house

Theresa Wong

Theresa Wong is a composer, cellist, and vocalist actively exploring the intersection of music, creative experimentation, and the synergy of multiple disciplines. Raised in upstate New York and the San Francisco Bay Area, Wong studied classical piano and cello from an early age. Her interests expanded into design, leading her to Stanford University’s product design program, as well as the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and Fabrica, an experimental research center in Northern Italy. While living in Venice, Wong realized her vision to unite music with the inquisitive process of design, with the primary intention of finding transformation through performance. Upon returning to the United States, she completed an MFA at Mills College where her teachers included Fred Frith, Joan Jeanrenaud, Joëlle Léandre, Annie Gosfield, Alvin Curran and June Watanabe.

Studying contemporary music, jazz, and free improvising under Vincent Courtois, Anssi Kartunnen, Eric Watson, Benjamin Moussay, he gave solo concerts and concerts with baroque, classical and contemporary music ensembles, was invited to Musica and Jazz d‘Or festivals. His main band Auditive Connection has been accepted to L’Illiade Young Talents Festival and ‘France o Folies’ and performed during ‘Turkish Season in France’ and in İstanbul. Valerie Thompson

Valerie Thompson is a native of Kansas City, MO.

She began classical cello studies at the age of ten, and is a graduate of Berklee College of Music with a B.M. in music performance.

She has performed in the Czech Republic as a participant of the Ameropa Chamber Music Festival, at the Banff International Youth Symphony Festival in Alberta, and the Cathedral of St. John the Divine with the Berklee String Orchestra.

When not freelancing or teaching cello, Valerie can be heard in any of her fine musical projects FLUTTR EFFECT, the Yurodivy Quintet, and the Ephemeral Duet.

Chicago based cellist, composer and educator, Tomeka Reid has been described as "a remarkably versatile player," (Howard Reich, Chicago Tribune). Equally adept in classical and jazz contexts, Ms. Reid predominantly finds herself in experimental and improvisatory settings and composes for a wide range of instrumentation, from big band to chamber ensemble. Ms. Reid's music combines her love for groove along with freer concepts.
