Butch Campbell Guitarist, Composer, Producer, Jazz Educator. Biography: Butch Campbell is a New York based guitarist and producer. Mr. Campbell, a native of Philadelphia, Pa., attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, and has performed and or recorded with Stanley Turrentine, Charles Earland, Marlena Shaw, Japanese artists Teramusa Hino, Masabumi Kikuchi, and many others. As a sideman he has recorded in many different settings of jazz from organ trios, to contemporary jazz, to fusion. On records and CDs Mr. Campbell has played in rhythm sections whose members have included musicians Harvey Mason, Steve Thornton and Marcus Miller
