One of the most specific and powerful band in and around Hungary. The band formed in 2004 from long time friends and musicians of Kobánya Music Studio and Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, Budapest. The members of the band play in many well known and appreciated groups in Hungary as a session musician and took part in the making of several albums, as songwriter, studiomusican besides Special Providence. The band played a lot of festivals and clubs in Hungary and abroad as well.(England,Slovakia,Romania etc.) Having an approach, by putting music as a priority over virtosistic individualisim, allows the band to represent prog-fusion jazz in a new light

The Daniel Szabo Trio plays originals and standard-arrangements written by its leader whose pieces have a peculiar taste and character influenced by the colorful and complex musical heritage of Eastern-Europe. The group has been regularly performing at international festivals, concert halls or clubs and often collaborates with renowned international jazz artists: they have joined forces with Kurt Rosenwinkel, Chris Potter, John Ellis, Rosario Giuliani and Flavio Boltro in the past years. The band’s last album containing a complete program of originals composed by Szabo features New York-guitarist Kurt Rosenwinkel whose band Szabo has already toured with throughout Europe. The Daniel Szabo Trio was part of the Kimmel Center Jazz Series (Mellon Jazz-Up Close) in Philadelphia in March of 2008, of which the artistic director was Danilo Perez. Bálint Hrecska was born in Budapest, on 12 August, 1981. Music had interested him from a very early age and so, his parents enrolled him to a musical primary and middle school where he met up with his first and really important impacts. After middle school came a few years of side tracking from these studies, but his interest towards music stayed constant, more over grew a great deal. In 2000, just before his high school graduation, he got his very first bass guitar. At this time he was mostly into the progressive rock groups of the 70’s, but he soon came to meet Jaco Pastorius’ works

Csaba Deseö

Violinist Csaba Deseo (1939) studied at Béla Bartók Conservatory in Budapest, got his diploma in 1961. His jazz-career started in the middle of the 1960s, beside concerts in Hungary he soon appeared at international jazz festivals in Prague, Warsaw, Berlin, Zagreb, Bled and Ljubljana. His first LP entitled “Four String Tschaba” was recorded 1974 in West Germany by MPS-BASF with German, Swedish and English musicians. Deseo played in different formations with top Hungarian performers - Gabor Szabo, Aladar Pege, Tony Lakatos, Laszlo Gardony, Tommy Vig etc. - and also played with Jean-Luc Ponty, John Lewis, Martin Drew, Dusko Goykovic, Bosko Petrovic and many others. Between 1967-1999 he was also member of the Hungarian State Philharmonic Orchestra, with them he toured the world from Japan to the US and of course whole Europe. In the last years he is playing with the best musicians of the young generation from the Budapest jazz-scene

Just in Time

Just in Time The trio was formed in the spring of 2005.in a vocal-piano-bass formation. The members are all young and acknowledge musicians of the new of the Hungarian jazz generation. Lately, the trio gained a new member András Mohay (drums) turning the trio into a quartet. On the repertoir of Just in Time, compositions of the members can be found as well as jazz classic and jazzy covers. The specialty of the band is the musical variability, the intimate atmosphere it creates and the sophisticated way of playing. The combo has already had many concerts at leading Hungarian festivals and clubs such as Sziget festival, Jazztergom festivals, Colombus Jazz Club or ship A38 here they played as the warm - up band of one of the most famous blues legends, Roben Ford Band. Myrtill Micheller

Myrtill Micheller has been a well-known artist in the Hungarian music industry for more than ten years and is now a household name. After graduating as a jazz vocalist major from the Franz Liszt Music Academy, she started her music career as a jazz singer and vocal coach. She has performed with many Hungarian bands and solo artists such as Tamas Hevesi, Erika Zoltan, Roy and Adam, United, Animal Cannibals, Zsuzsa Cserhati, TNT, Naksi & Brunner and Istvan Lerch. Myrtill also performed a singing-acting role in the musical production Dr. Bubo and lent her vocal skills to the move classic “Meseauto” (Dreamcar) with the band Escape
